Newsweek points out that while Mexico has replaced China as the largest import source for the US, Chinese-made products still hold a significant share in the American e-commerce retail market, especially in the “white label” products directly shipped to households. The CPSC’s intensive actions this week show that regulatory pressure is precisely targeting cross-border e-commerce supply chains.

The CPSC reminds consumers to immediately stop using the above-mentioned products and contact the sellers for disposal or refunds as per the announcement. For most products sold on Amazon, consumers are required to upload photos as proof of product disposal.
