Today’s Focus:
Foreigners don’t love Chinese! What do you understand only after going abroad? Subway arson, soaring immigration – is it the result of Leftist “spoiling” in the US? Has the “east rising, west declining” phenomenon occurred? Urban legend: 150,000 criminals assimilated by which city? Shocking statements from New York beggars; American secrets: a big heart fosters greatness.
Recently, there was a video discussing things that many Chinese only understand after going abroad, such as the nationalistic dream instilled by the Chinese Communist Party, brainwashing propaganda reminiscent of North Korea’s hostility towards the US, which are realized only upon experiencing life abroad.
While Westerners care more about having a lawn for their children to play on than impressive skyscrapers for facades.
Question:
Jin Shi, did you notice any differences between the propaganda abroad and that in your home country?
Qin Peng, even though some gain insights after going abroad, many people never have that chance. Is there a method to break through the one-party propaganda of the CCP without leaving the country?
Answer: I believe that the key is observation and critical thinking. When I first arrived in the US ten years ago, I had a complete paradigm shift. Here, whether a millionaire or a regular worker, everyone is happy and confident. People don’t respect you for living in a fancy house or driving a luxury car, nor do they look down on you; in China, the wealthy tend to hire others while in the US, people enjoy doing things themselves, nearly every home has a workshop, and it’s a source of pleasure; in China, goods are expensive and labor is cheap, but in the US, goods are affordable and people are valued, allowing even a single working person to support a whole family, many manual laborers easily earn six figures annually and live fulfilling lives; strangers greet each other with smiles here, discussing personal matters with strangers. Initially, you might find the people here foolish, but gradually, you realize you live a more relaxed life, leading you to adapt. Waiting patiently for pedestrians to cross the road or watching a group of ducks leisurely pass by while driving becomes a norm, and you begin to see this as the life of normal people.
So, how can we dismantle the one-party system of the CCP? It’s essential to believe that most people in the world are normal, and who are the CCP’s allies? They are all dictators and rogue scammers. So, viewing things oppositely to CCP propaganda will reveal the truth!
Tang Hao, eight-word time
Thank you for the analysis. It is said that no matter what happens in the New York subway, it’s not surprising. Recently, there was another arson incident in the subway, making people ponder – what’s happening in New York?
A recent incident of arson occurred in the New York subway. A 49-year-old man named Nile entered the subway on the 25th afternoon carrying flammable liquid, which he ignited and splashed on other passengers inside the car. At that moment, a 23-year-old man, Petriffe, trying to protect his fiancée, directly used his body to block the burning liquid, causing him to catch fire, leading to 30% burns on his body even after being sent to the hospital.
Following the incident, the police successfully arrested Nile. Some sources suggest that the police suspect Nile’s involvement in a similar incident that occurred in February.
They say that anything can happen in the New York subway – from streaking to pushing people onto the tracks to suicide attempts. In this subway ruled by rats, one can’t help but wonder, what’s going on in New York City?
Questions:
Q1 Audience, what’s happening in New York? Do you have any personal experiences? / Jin Shi / Why is this happening?
Q2 Lin Lan, many mainland Chinese coming to the US have the initial impression that “infrastructure is not as good as in China”; now, US education ranks lower than China; how did the US turn out this way?
Q3 Qin Peng, Tang Hao, is the US still a great country? How do you define greatness? Is the East really rising and the West declining?
Q4 Audience, if given a choice, where would you choose to live and why?
