Typhoon Shan-Duo hits Taiwan, full list of work and school closures on October 1

Taiwan’s Central Weather Bureau announced at 6:15 pm on September 30th that Typhoon Shantuo has made landfall on Hengchun Peninsula, Pingtung, and Taitung. The storm poses a threat to Hengchun Peninsula, Taitung, Pingtung, and Kaohsiung. It is projected that the typhoon will slightly intensify in the coming days, urging the public to stay vigilant and prepare for the storm.
