The Chinese Communist Party’s military parade on September 3 has ended, but it continues to send military aircraft and ships to harass Taiwan. The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated that from 6 a.m. on September 4 until 6 a.m. today (September 5), a total of 28 Chinese Communist Party aircraft and ships were detected operating around the Taiwan Strait, and the Taiwanese military is closely monitoring and responding to the situation.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China released information on the activities of the Chinese military in the airspace around the Taiwan Strait. The statistics from 6 a.m. on the 4th until 6 a.m. today show that there were 17 instances of Chinese military aircraft and 9 warships, as well as 2 government vessels, continuing to operate in the vicinity of the Taiwan Strait. Among them, Chinese military aircraft crossed the median line of the strait into the airspace in the northern and southwestern regions of Taiwan for a total of 9 instances.
According to an illustrative diagram released by the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China today regarding the activities of the Chinese military in the airspace around the Taiwan Strait, from 7:35 a.m. to 2:25 p.m. on the 4th, 10 instances of Chinese main combat aircraft and drones were detected in the Taiwan Strait area; from 8:45 a.m. to 8:40 p.m., 7 instances of Chinese main and support combat aircraft and drones were detected in the southwestern airspace.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China pointed out that the Taiwanese military is using surveillance aircraft, ships, and coastal missile systems to closely monitor and respond to the situation.
Furthermore, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China stated that at 10:34 a.m. today, the Chinese Communist Party conducted a satellite launch mission using a carrier rocket from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan. The rocket’s flight path was towards the west of Taiwan into the Pacific Ocean, posing no threat to the Taiwan region.
The Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China emphasized that the military is closely monitoring the situation using a joint intelligence surveillance system and remains vigilant to respond appropriately.
