Man from Jiangsu, China Shows Off New Car, Mocked, Stabs and Drives Recklessly Causing Death

On the evening of October 24th, in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, a young man stabbed and killed a man and then proceeded to crash into more than a dozen motorcycles and a motorcycle club with his car after being mocked for flaunting his new car.

According to online motorcycle group chat records, a young man named K purchased a new Xiaomi Su7 on installment and invited motorcycle friends for a racing event. However, he was ridiculed by a person named Xu Congcong, who remarked sarcastically about his affordable electric car, suggesting that K had taken out a loan for 70% of the car’s price and was just seeking attention. This led to K’s anger and motivated his actions.

In response to the mockery, the young man drove to a coffee shop called “Nanhu MOTO,” where the motorcycle enthusiasts were gathered for their meeting, leading to a confrontation.

Witnesses stated that a scuffle ensued between the two groups, during which a person named Cao grabbed the young man by the neck. In retaliation, the young man pulled out a knife and stabbed Cao. Xu Congcong, who was provoking the situation online, reportedly backed off after seeing the incident unfold.

After the altercation, the young man got into his new Xiaomi Su7. Instead of leaving, he recklessly rammed into the motorcycles parked in front of the club for a couple of minutes, causing chaos among the onlookers. Eventually, the young man drove away from the scene in his Xiaomi Su7.

Video footage captured at the scene revealed that apart from crashing into the motorcycles, the young man also drove his car into the motorcycle club, resulting in damage to the glass doors and windows of the premises. Staff members on-site informed the media that the man had come to the club to “show off” his new car and appeared to lose control of his emotions after being taunted.

In the early hours of October 25th, the Public Security Bureau of Tongzhou District in Nantong City reported that the owner of the Xiaomi Su7, a 23-year-old man named Kang, and a 32-year-old man named Cao were involved in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation. Kang then stabbed Cao with a knife, proceeded to crash into the club’s glass door and multiple motorcycles parked nearby before being apprehended by the police. Unfortunately, Cao succumbed to his injuries despite rescue efforts.
