On November 23, 2025, it was the 100th anniversary of the West Mountain Conference. A century ago on this day, the Kuomintang of China held the first Plenary Session of the Fourth Central Committee in West Mountain, Beijing, also known as the “West Mountain Conference”. The conference exposed and opposed the Soviet Union’s conspiracy to infiltrate and aggress China through the Chinese Communist Party, decisively stopped the policy of “uniting with the Soviet Union and accommodating the Communist Party”, revoked the party membership of CCP members, dismissed Soviet advisor Borodin, expelled Wang Jingwei from the party, among other actions, becoming a crucial turning point in modern Chinese political history.
