Heilongjiang Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection Deputy Secretary and Deputy Director of the Provincial Supervision Commission, Jiang Hongwei, is under investigation during his term.
According to the notice issued on the morning of June 16 by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China and the National Supervision Commission, Jiang Hongwei, Deputy Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Deputy Director of the Provincial Supervision Commission, is suspected of “serious violations of discipline and law” and is currently under investigation.
Public records show that Jiang Hongwei, born in January 1968, worked for many years in the Heilongjiang Provincial Forestry Bureau and held positions such as Director of the Labor and Social Security Bureau of the Provincial Forestry Bureau, member of the Party Committee of the Provincial Forestry Bureau (China Longjiang Forestry Group Corporation), and Minister of the Organization Department.
In 2015, Jiang Hongwei entered the Communist Party’s discipline inspection system, serving as a member of the Daxing’anling Prefectural Committee and Secretary of the Regional Commission for Discipline Inspection. In November 2017, he was transferred to become a member of the Jiamusi Municipal Committee, Secretary of the Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and Director of the Municipal Supervision Commission. In 2020, he was promoted to Deputy Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Deputy Director of the Provincial Supervision Commission, until the current investigation.
