Shenzhen Media Group Retirees Fight for Rights at Newspaper Company.

Recently, nearly a hundred retired employees of the Shenzhen Press Group gathered at the Press Building, holding banners and advocating for their rights, a message that quickly spread through social media platforms. However, related reports from mainland China media have been deleted.

According to the information, on the morning of November 22nd, nearly a hundred retired individuals from the Shenzhen Press Group assembled at the Shenzhen Press Building on Shennan Road, aiming to have a dialogue with the group’s president to protect their legitimate rights. The advocacy activity lasted for six to seven hours that day.

Allegations further revealed that despite the long-term decline in the group’s operational performance in recent years, the leadership at the Shenzhen Press Group surreptitiously allocated high salaries, with the president alone receiving an annual salary of 1.7 million Chinese Yuan, while ordinary young employees only earn three to four thousand per month.

“wenlongjack”: Even retired personnel from the Chinese Communist Party’s media seem unable to bear it.

“xxxx”: Weren’t these individuals the ones who used to start all the false news stories in the past?

“jiujiuliu”: These propaganda employees usually assist the Communist Party in glossing over the truth, suppressing public opinion, praising the Party, and now that the economy has deteriorated so significantly, many places can’t even pay them, and yet they are causing trouble for money.

“XunLongJi”: Finally, after retiring, they have a chance for a truthful news report, and they are the protagonists.

“Jienafo (Identical to Blue Sky)”: They used to turn a blind eye to the hardships faced by the people within the system. Now, the iron fist has struck them.

“XunLongJi”: Once on a Shenzhen Airlines plane, I saw the “Shenzhen Special Zone News” and glanced at the front page. It was like a Shenzhen version of the “Japanese People’s News,” filled with insincere flattery. I immediately discarded it.
