VANNER, the four members Hui Cheng, Tai Huan, GON, and Yong Guang, who were crowned in the South Korean show “Peak Time”, visited Taiwan on the 10th to hold a concert and celebrate with their fans. Apart from delivering cool dance performances, they also specially prepared a Chinese song “Close Your Eyes When It’s Dark” to showcase their emotional singing skills.
Despite not having all members present due to one member, Cheng Guo, recently enlisting in the military, the remaining four members didn’t disappoint the fans. In the “2024 VANNER 1ST CONCERT ‘THE FLAG : A TO V’ IN TAIPEI” held on the 10th, VANNER swiftly displayed their strongest stage presence, aiming to give fans the best memories.
At the start of the event, VANNER appeared stylish in racing suits and performed two songs “CIRCUIT” and “WANT U BACK”. They greeted the audience in Mandarin, “Hello everyone! We are VANNER, it’s been a while, right?” The four boys even mentioned enjoying local delicacies like beef noodle soup and xiao long bao. Adorable GON directly said to the fans below the stage, “Next time, invite me to eat with you guys!”
In preparation for the Taipei performance, they dedicated two songs as a tribute to “VVS” (fans nickname). One was the classic hit “Close Your Eyes When It’s Dark” sung by 9ZCP (Chen Ling Jiu, Qiu Feng Ze), and the other was the great song “Get A Guitar” by the band RIIZE. Choosing these two challenging pieces as a tribute further demonstrated their sincerity.
For their first tour concert, VANNER prepared over 20 songs, ensuring all VVS left fulfilled. Upon hearing the encore demands from the audience, they returned to the stage to perform an encore once again. Their excellent interaction not only touched the fans but also showed VANNER’s appreciation for each fan. After the successful concert, the busy VANNER didn’t rest but immediately moved on to their next destination.
