Haque Jinli will attend CNN City Hall event, Trump heading to Georgia

Less than two weeks left until the US election day, the campaigns of the two presidential candidates have entered the final sprint.
Vice President Kamala Harris is scheduled to visit Pennsylvania on Wednesday, where she will co-host a CNN town hall event with Anderson Cooper in prime time.
The town hall event, to be held in Delaware County, suburban Philadelphia at 9 p.m. Eastern Time, is aimed at undecided voters.

Harris recently quipped during an NBC interview, “I’m going to talk about his (referring to Trump) running mate… Elon Musk… really? Really? So where’s Senator Hawley?” as she continues to focus on campaign issues.

With the escalating conflict in the Middle East, Harris must balance showing support for Israel to gain the backing of the Jewish community, while also seeking support from the Arab and Muslim communities.

Meanwhile, Harris’s husband, Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, will be in Hallandale Beach, Florida for an early voting rally and later will speak on behalf of the Victory Fund at a campaign reception.

Former President Donald Trump, on the other hand, recently met with Latinx business leaders in Miami, Florida before attending a rally in Greensboro, North Carolina, his second visit to the competitive state within two days.

Trump is scheduled to hold a “Believers and Ballots Faith Town Hall” in Zebulon, Georgia on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Later in the evening, he will hold a rally in Duluth, Georgia with Turning Point PAC and Turning Point Action.

Tim Walz, Harris’s running mate and Governor of Minnesota, is set to stay in St. Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday, followed by an interview with Univision radio host Raúl Molina. Walz will also participate in interviews with local TV stations in key states such as North Carolina, Georgia, and Pennsylvania before delivering a speech at a campaign reception in Louisville, Kentucky.

Recently, Walz and former President Barack Obama criticized Trump’s energy policy during a campaign event in Madison, Wisconsin, while also urging voters to participate actively in the intense competition.

In a separate campaign event, Obama criticized some Black men for not being enthusiastic about the idea of a female president, a move that has drawn criticism for potentially alienating reliable Democratic supporters.

Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, a Republican Senator from Ohio, will speak at two events in Nevada on Wednesday – one in Las Vegas at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and another in Reno at 1:30 p.m. Pacific Time. Donald Trump Jr. will also speak at a Trump team campaign event in Queen Creek, Arizona at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

According to the latest Reuters/Ipsos poll, Harris leads Trump by a slim margin of 46% to 43%.

Reflecting increased betting odds on Trump’s victory, shares of Trump’s media company surged to their highest level since July, with his Trump Media & Technology Group, which operates the Truth Social app, rising by 9% to $34.17.
Since hitting a historic low at the end of September, the stock has nearly doubled. Traders have been favoring Trump’s media as a speculative bet on his potential win in the November 5 election.

Trump currently owns 57% of the company, valued at nearly $4 billion.
