Man in Zhuhai Injures People with Knife in Shopping Mall Bloodstains Everywhere

On the evening of December 17, a knife attack occurred at the Pangdo Guangchang in Hengqin, Zhuhai, Guangdong, with bloodstains visible at the scene.

According to a video captured by a netizen, a man dressed in black clothing, wearing a black duckbill cap and a black face mask, was seen walking slowly inside the mall. As the man approached, pedestrians ahead hurriedly fled. In the video, bloodstains were also seen on the floor in front of a shop entrance.

A netizen posted, “A man in black clothing publicly attacked someone with a knife and then casually walked away, very arrogant. The police have not caught him yet.”

According to a report by Huashang Daily, staff at the mall involved indicated that the incident seemed to have stemmed from a dispute between customers, and the shopping center has already reported the incident to the police. However, they were unsure whether the perpetrator had been apprehended.

On the morning of December 18, personnel from the local police station responded that the case is being actively investigated, but they could not disclose further details. Three major hospitals in the vicinity stated that they treated one injured person on the night of the 17th, and the treatment had been completed before the night shift turnover.

The incident caused panic online.
