According to online reports on the evening of December 11, a video circulated showing a fierce fire at a pre-packaged food company factory in Gaofu Kou Park, Fuping County, Baoding, Hebei.
The video showed thick smoke billowing and flames shooting high into the sky, engulfing a high-rise building in the raging fire, with debris falling to the ground as the outer structure burned intensely.
As reported by mainland media, on the morning of December 12, the Fuping County government in Fuping Town stated that the fire broke out around 6 p.m. on December 11 and was completely extinguished around 9 p.m. The burning building was identified as a pre-packaged food company factory. A town government official stated, “As far as I know, the entire building was burnt down.”
Emergency management personnel from Fuping County stated in a media interview that the fire did not result in any casualties.
Multiple online sources indicated that the factory where the fire occurred belonged to “Guo Xu Da Central Kitchen.”

(formerly known as Guo Xu Central Kitchen (Hebei) Pre-packaged Ingredients Co., Ltd.) was established in 2022. It is located in Gaofu Kou Food Processing Park, Fuping County, Baoding City, Hebei Province, with a focus on “central kitchen + cold chain logistics + standardized production.” The company operates six automated vegetable cleaning production lines with a daily capacity of 120 tons, supplying products to Beijing supermarkets and school cafeterias.
