Mainland Famous Internet Celebrity Blue Battle not Self-Detonation Kidnapped by Fellow Countryman in South Africa

China’s popular travel blogger, “Blue War Non,” with millions of fans, took to social media late on December 8th to reveal that he was kidnapped and extorted by Chinese individuals while in Cape Town, South Africa. Despite having managed to escape the ordeal, the entire experience left him shaken and terrified. The news of “Blue War Non’s kidnapping” quickly became a hot topic and sparked discussions on December 9th.

According to “Blue War Non’s” post, despite having traveled alone across seven continents without ever being robbed by foreigners, he was kidnapped by Chinese individuals during his time in South Africa.

In his post, he mentioned that he was staying at a five-star hotel in Cape Town, South Africa when the incident occurred at midnight. A Chinese man, accompanied by two African individuals, bribed hotel staff to gain access to his room using a key card. They then proceeded to kidnap him while he was asleep, a horrifying ordeal lasting four to five hours. The kidnappers used a knife to coerce him into transferring money, applying for online loans, and collecting his fingerprints, hair, semen, and other biological information to fabricate a potential rape case, preventing him from reporting the incident.

In his statement, he revealed that during conversations with the kidnappers, he learned that they had been planning the abduction since he announced his trip to South Africa six months prior. The kidnappers even bribed airline crew members to determine his arrival time in Cape Town, pretending to be fans and taxi drivers at the airport. However, their initial attempt failed as he chose an official taxi instead. They then followed his cab to the hotel, conducted surveillance, and finally kidnapped him on the night before he was set to depart for the South Pole, only leaving in the early hours of the next morning, threatening to kill him if he didn’t catch the morning flight back to China.

Following his release, “Blue War Non” immediately reported the incident to local authorities and the Chinese embassy, despite being informed that there was a slim chance of apprehending the culprits. The report was primarily made to protect himself from potential framing attempts.

According to mainland Chinese media reports, “Blue War Non” was born on August 17, 1992, and was once a gaming anchor for Panda Live and Douyu Live platforms. Currently, he is a gaming anchor and travel blogger with 24.78 million fans.

In previous live streams, he mentioned that if he were to exploit his followers like other popular influencers, he could easily make billions. However, this led to him being banned from multiple platforms for a period. It wasn’t until October 10th of this year that his bans were lifted.
