Hackers infiltrate PRC government website, claim to have intercepted high-level confidential meeting content

The 20th Central Committee of the CCP held a four-day session in Beijing starting from October 20th, officially claiming that the main agenda was to review the next five-year plan, known as the “15th Five-Year Plan”. The well-known anti-CCP hacker group “Anonymous 64” announced on social media that they had breached multiple CCP official websites, claiming to have “intercepted secret high-level CCP meetings” and exposed the fraudulence of the 4th Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee regarding the “15th Five-Year Plan”.

On October 22nd, “Anonymous 64” posted on X to reveal the results of their four waves of actions:

In the first wave, the group announced that they had “intercepted CCP secret high-level meetings” and declared, “We are Anonymous 64, we are back. Successfully infiltrated four websites including China Council for Promotion of International Trade, Asia Pacific News Economic, revealing the truth to the world!” (“Link”) (Webpage backup).

“Anonymous 64” did not further disclose details of the “CCP secret high-level meetings” they intercepted.

In the second wave, “Anonymous 64” announced they had taken down government websites such as Baoding Judicial Bureau, Public Security Information Network, as well as three news websites specializing in CCP propaganda, stating, “The truth of CCP exploiting the people at the 4th Plenum is right before your eyes!” (“Link”) (Webpage backup).

For the third wave, the group proclaimed, “We have successfully accessed the websites of companies closely related to CCP in the aerospace and defense industries, such as Shenyang Purple Micro Detection Equipment Co., Ltd., along with supply websites in the fields of electric services, new energy, and chip technology development like Suzhou Huadian Network. The truth of the CCP’s exploitation of the people at the 4th Plenum is exposed before you. If you continue to indulge the CCP, you will only be forever their minions!” (“Link”)

In the fourth wave, “Anonymous 64” announced: they have breached forums of 9 universities including Fudan, Zhongnan, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, thoroughly exposing the “shameless conspiracy” of the CCP at the 4th Plenum to exploit the people. The post urged students nationwide to stand up against the CCP, break free from their enslavement, and never become their puppets! (“Link”) (Webpage backup).

After breaching CCP official websites, “Anonymous 64” released an article titled “4th Plenum ’15th Five-Year Plan’ Deception: Party Elites Squander Wealth, People Reduced to Mining”. It included several subheadings such as “Blueprint turns into a trap: Five-year plan becomes a scheme for elites to get rich”, “Elite wealth feast: Controlling resources to plunder people’s wealth, hiding greed behind a facade of fairness”, “People’s mining lament, depleting savings, burdened by life’s hardships and poverty”, among others.

The post was accompanied by slogans and images, including “Without the Communist Party, there is a new China” and “Overthrow Communist tyranny, achieve fairness and freedom”.

“Anonymous 64” has frequently hacked into CCP websites in recent years.

On June 4th of this year, “Anonymous 64” posted on X stating, “We have taken over People’s Liberation Army news mobile app, PLA schools, defense conglomerates, and Shaanxi Chamber of Commerce and Trade Association, letting the Chinese people know the truth about the massacre of the people by the CCP in Tiananmen Square on June 4, 1989.”

On March 28th of this year, “Anonymous 64” posted on X platform claiming to have hacked into numerous websites within China, including military research associations, Guilin Aeronautical Technology College, manned spaceflight engineering offices, implanting posts accusing five individuals allegedly nurtured by the CCP, such as Minister of Propaganda Li Shulei, Minister of Public Security Wang Xiaohong, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission Zheng Zhijie, Vice Premier He Lifeng, and Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

In recent years, the CCP has repeatedly accused the group of having ties to Taiwan’s cyber army. However, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of China and Premier Su Tseng-chang have refuted the Chinese claims.

The Republic of China’s Cyber Warfare Command stated that the CCP’s accusations are not based on facts, and it is the CCP that is the main instigator of disrupting regional peace and stability.

On X platform, the “Anonymous 64” account marks their location as “China”. Their slogan is: “Our power is unstoppable, we will continue to spread the truth about the CCP.”
