On June 15th, Hong Kong actor Aaron Kwok promoted his latest film “Ring Finger” at a local theater. During an interview, he confirmed that his wife Moka is expecting their third child, expressing his joy by saying “the more kids, the merrier.”
At 59 years old, Aaron Kwok married mainland Chinese internet celebrity Moka, who is 22 years his junior, in 2017. The couple already has two daughters aged 8 and 6. Rumors about Moka’s third pregnancy circulated in May, and when asked about it at that time, Kwok simply responded with sentiments like “children are a gift from heaven,” “worthy of gratitude,” and “let things happen naturally.”
Father’s Day fell on June 15th, and when asked during the promotion of his movie “Ring Finger” if there was any good news, Kwok initially smiled and remained silent. Upon learning that fellow artist Alex Fong announced he is going to be a father, Kwok commented, “It’s a happy occasion. Congratulations to him (Alex).” He then hinted at his own happy news, saying, “I have something to be happy about too, but I won’t say too much. I’ve always said the more children at home, the livelier it is, and I like liveliness.” He also expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you, God, for this gift.”
Regarding the baby’s gender, Kwok mentioned, “We’ll accept whatever arrangement the heavens have in store, whether it’s a boy or a girl.” When asked if they have started preparing for the new baby’s arrival, he jokingly replied, “You’ll have to ask my wife!” He mentioned that when Moka was pregnant before, there were baby product companies inviting them for advertisements, so he is not worried about this matter.
Recently, Moka shared a video on social media showing her daily routine during the pregnancy. The video unexpectedly revealed the couple’s luxurious residence in Hong Kong, situated halfway up a lush hill, overlooking the cityscape of Victoria Harbour, complete with indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, a gym, and other high-end facilities, sparking discussions among netizens about “this is what a true pregnancy lifestyle looks like.”
In the video, Moka cleverly endorsed a brand of diapers, suggesting, “Perhaps our own baby will also need these in the future.” This statement was interpreted by online users as both endorsing the brand and indirectly announcing her third pregnancy.
Despite having to work on Father’s Day, Aaron Kwok referred to himself as a “dad who loves his job.” He revealed that his daughters had already given him their own paintings as gifts, saying, “They draw for me every year. I put them up in my studio, and when I feel tired from work, seeing them warms my heart.”
