For the past twenty years since the publication of “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” more and more Chinese people, especially those who used to be staunch supporters of the Party, have been awakening to the true evil nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and have been declaring their withdrawals from the CCP, Communist Youth League, and Young Pioneers (“three withdrawals”).
In November 2004, Epoch Times published the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” which deeply analyzed the cult nature of the CCP, exposing its nine gene sequences of evil, deceit, incitement, struggle, plunder, hooliganism, espionage, destruction, and control. This triggered a wave of withdrawals from the CCP among the Chinese people. To date, over 440 million Chinese people have renounced their ties to the CCP.
The following statements are selected from the withdrawal declarations posted on the Epoch Times’ three withdrawals website in the past two weeks.
Wang Hongxin from Zhejiang, who used to be a cadre in the Communist Youth League at school, once said, “I was very loyal to the Communist evil Party and even wrote many articles praising the evil Party.” One day, a classmate sent him an installation package for the Freegate VPN, claiming that it could help him understand the truth. At first, he was skeptical.
“However, after reading the entire ‘Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,’ I completely understood how evil the Communist Party is as an organization.”
He quoted a passage from the ninth commentary: “Today, beneath the window-dressing economic prosperity of the CCP through quick success, people once again have illusions about the Party. However, the fundamental conflict between the Party’s self-interest and the national interest determines that this prosperity cannot be sustained indefinitely. Its ‘reforms’ are only aimed at maintaining the Party’s rule, and it is just a lame reform of old ways.”
He said, “No matter how the CCP tries to beautify its dictatorial rule, it cannot escape the clear eyes of the people. The evil Party will be overthrown!” He declared his withdrawal from the Communist Youth League organization.
A person who identified as “Grave Digger of Communism” declared his withdrawal from the Communist Youth League. He described himself as a “brainwashed little pink” who used to support the CCP. Influenced by articles written under the pseudonym “Program-Generating Thoughts” on blogs, he later became a “healthy person with independent thinking,” hoping for the release of the “Thought Brother” who was imprisoned two years ago due to CCP persecution.
He mentioned having read many books and historical documents during that period and said, “I thoroughly shattered the pink values created by the CCP, deeply understanding the essence of the Communist Party, a group of scoundrels adept at using external terror to deceive the people, an authoritarian party that is tough on the inside and soft on the outside, keen on the superficial ‘glory’ of capitalist oligarchs…”
He also stated, “In the future, I will use knowledge to arm my mind well, help break down the ‘Chinese Dream’ among those around me, and let the successors of communism become the gravediggers of communism. Holding the CCP accountable for its crimes and related interests, let true democracy flourish on the land of China so that future generations will not have to witness a joke.”
Deng Liang from Sichuan declared his withdrawal from the Communist Party’s Youth League and organization. He mentioned frequently traveling abroad and being aware of many Chinese people escaping the clutches of the CCP. Despite not having a deep understanding before, he realized that they were not just seeking better living conditions.
During the pandemic lockdown in Xinjiang, he was confined for half a year and barely managed to escape. Due to decades of CCP brainwashing, he still had some emotional attachment to it. However, he expressed gratitude to Epoch Times for making him understand that “the CCP is not equal to China” and that his love was for his own country and nation, not the confused entity of the CCP, which brought him clarity.
He mentioned a relative who was a high-ranking officer in the military, always diligent, modest, and cautious, responsible for technical matters. However, he was suddenly arrested in 2024, accused of being associated with Li Shangfu, the Minister of National Defense’s faction. His family was investigated, and despite his relative’s integrity with no financial issues, the authorities demanded repayment of all his previous wages! The situation was distressing for the family.
He said, “It was then that I realized that if this evil political and ideological system does not collapse, no one, no matter who manages our country and nation, can do anything about it.”
A mainland Chinese woman named Chris Zhang, working in a business unit, past the age of 40, with family members of different ages, declared her withdrawal from the CCP. She reluctantly became a prospective Party member on December 30, 2024, solely to secure her job and her family’s livelihood during these difficult times. She emphasized that being a prospective Party member, despite lacking voting rights, was essentially the same as being a full-fledged member.
“However, my decision to join the Party was not voluntary but solely to ensure the stability of my job and my family’s well-being, so as not to cut off our source of income in these challenging times.”
Working in IT at her unit, due to the position’s sensitivity, her unit’s leadership had informed her a few years ago that those in her position had to be Party members and urged her to join promptly. Being well-versed in network technology, she started circumventing the Great Firewall many years ago. “I learned about the real world and saw through the various lies fabricated by the CCP to deceive mainlanders. I understood the suffering of the Chinese people, with the root cause being the CCP. Therefore, I loathe the Communist Party deeply.”
She wrote, “Being coerced into joining the Party goes against my true wishes. At over 40 years old, there is simply no opportunity to find a new job in mainland China. If there were other options, I would prefer to resign immediately, or even leave mainland China altogether, distancing myself from the CCP once and for all.
“Forced to become a Party member, I feel very ashamed. Hence, on the day I physically joined the Party, I quickly declared my spiritual withdrawal from the Party on the withdrawal website, clearly distancing myself from the evil Party of the CCP.”
She expressed gratitude to the Global Service Center for Quitting the Party for providing Chinese people with the opportunity for the “three withdrawals.”
Wen Hong, a researcher in education, declared his withdrawal from the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers organizations. He commented on the lack of genuine schools in China, stating that from primary to university, they are all Party schools. During the Republic of China period, schools preserved the traditional education of Confucian private schools while actively developing modern academic independent education from Western universities. He pointed out that education in China from an early age has indoctrinated people.
His experience over the years revealed how the CCP’s education model had destroyed the nation and the morals of its people. “People nowadays are devoid of morality, lacking understanding of Chinese traditional culture or contemporary Western democratic rule of law civilization. Instead, they are influenced by the brainwashing of the Communist Party, where right and wrong, good and evil are blurred, leading to a hazy existence.”
He continued, “China, a country with a civilization spanning five thousand years, has become a society where human hearts are greatly corrupt. To save the Chinese nation, the CCP must be overthrown.”
A mainland Chinese individual named Wu Ming worked as an external clerk in the judicial system. Lately, he felt that the CCP was tightening its control over them, and people’s hostility toward them was increasing. He mentioned only being there to make a living but now faced difficulties in receiving his salary. “I feel stuck in a dilemma now, with no sense of security at work, either afraid of being hit by the CCP’s iron fist or being harmed by people who hate the CCP.”
He regretted working there and joining the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers in his early years. Therefore, he declared his withdrawal from all CCP organizations, hoping to break free from this negative state of being caught between two sides as soon as possible, seeking spiritual care and protection and hoping for the collapse of the CCP regime soon.
Using the pseudonym Ding Lan, a woman born in the 1950s, stated that since childhood, she was coerced into joining the Young Pioneers, a requirement for everyone at the time. A few years ago, due to the CCP’s desire to exploit people, the investment platform her family had put money into was seized by the authorities, leading to financial ruin for her family. Her husband, a retired professional who worked for the platform after retiring, was sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the “abusive maniacs,” causing dual harm to her family.
She mentioned, “The authorities confiscated all of my husband’s retirement benefits, claiming it was to repay the victims’ principal amount. Everyone knows it was feeding the dogs; they are insatiable, and will never be satisfied no matter how much they consume.”
She stumbled upon VPN software and began accessing foreign websites daily, gradually gaining insights into what she referred to as the “CCP cult.” With her son’s help, she declared her withdrawal from the Young Pioneers. She vowed to live until the day of the CCP’s demise.
In conclusion, she expressed her gratitude to the Global Service Center for Quitting the Party for giving the Chinese people the opportunity to make these “three withdrawals.”
