Flushing residents celebrate Double Tenth Day and express their sentiments: CCP does not represent China.

On October 10th, the National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan), some Chinese immigrants from mainland China in New York’s Flushing spontaneously took to the streets to celebrate, expressing their desire to see the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) ousted from the mainland and give the people of China a free China.

At the same time on the other side of the world, President of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Lai Ching-te strongly stated that the Republic of China and the so-called People’s Republic of China (PRC) are not subordinate to each other, and the CCP has no authority to represent Taiwan. Residents of Flushing from the mainland echoed, saying, the CCP also does not represent the Chinese people!

“This year marks the 113th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of China. We are here to celebrate this holiday and express gratitude for the Republic of China’s longstanding values of freedom and democracy,” said Chen Weijie, chairman of the New York branch of the China Democracy and Human Rights Alliance. “The CCP is a foreign force from overseas, an illegal regime of one-party dictatorship, which we Chinese people do not recognize. Our legitimate Chinese government should be the government of the Republic of China. Mainland China is currently occupied by the CCP, how can they represent us?”

Mr. Zhou from Zhejiang, who immigrated to China last year, said that the CCP is a party that oppresses the Chinese people, a corrupt party that creates unfairness and injustice throughout China. Instead of living a comfortable material life in China by betraying his conscience, he decided to leave for the United States to pursue “freedom.”

“I feel uncomfortable earning money that way. I prefer to develop my own abilities, which makes me feel comfortable and accomplished,” Mr. Zhou said. “My wish is to make the mainland as free as Taiwan, free from the rule of the Communist Party; I hope the United States will defeat and eliminate the CCP, overthrow it, and establish a free and democratic China!”

During the event, there was a small incident: before noon, a Chinese traffic policeman in uniform came by and, upon seeing the slogans and banners celebrating Double Ten Day, suddenly cursed at the people using profanity. He was later reported to the 109th precinct police in Flushing.

Chen Weijie said that the behavior of this Chinese person speaking Mandarin reflects the extent to which the CCP brainwashes Chinese people and infiltrates the United States.

“I seriously suspect he is an agent of the CCP,” Chen Weijie said. “Otherwise, if he is a sworn American citizen or a public official, how could he say such inappropriate things? Maybe our statement ‘CCP Get Out of the UN’ struck a nerve, so he might be a CCP overseas agent.”

Another person surnamed Xu from Flushing put it more bluntly: “It’s simple, those who love the Communist Party, treat the Party as their mother, should go back to the mainland, return to Mom’s embrace, why stay in the United States?”
