Hamas Propaganda Video Exposed Displaying Chinese-Made Shells, Triggering Suspicions.

Palestinian armed group Hamas’s promotional video featuring Chinese-made ammunition has raised suspicions among observers.

A website “Israel War Room” that closely monitors the Middle East situation posted on its social media account X, stating that Hamas released a promotional video titled “We continue to prepare,” showcasing the use of Chinese-made Type 75 105mm recoilless rifle ammunition by Hamas armed personnel.

In the video, approximately 100 armor-piercing shells were seen near the operating station of Hamas armed personnel, although the Type 75 105mm recoilless rifle was not shown. One of the armed personnel was seen painting these shells green and labeling them.

According to public information, the Type 75 105mm recoilless rifle is an anti-armor weapon designed and standardized by the Chinese military in 1975, equipped with fin-stabilized armor-piercing and high-explosive rounds, with the gun carriage modified from the BJ212A light off-road vehicle.

Coincidentally, Hamas’s quasi-military force, the Al Qassam Brigades, released another promotional video a week ago, showing its armed personnel in the Tal Za’arab area of Rafah in Gaza using Chinese-made Red Arrow series anti-tank missiles to destroy Israeli infantry combat vehicles and other armored vehicles.

Public records show that the Red Arrow-8 anti-tank missile is a second-generation semi-automatic wire-guided anti-tank missile system put into mass production by China’s State-owned arms group in 1984, launched by infantry units from various platforms like tripods, and this model has been exported to countries including Palestine, Syria, and Iran.

Since Hamas militants attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had previously raided Hamas warehouses in Gaza, discovering a large quantity of Chinese-made weapons, ammunition, military-grade communication equipment, and other intelligence collection devices.

According to the UK’s Telegraph, in January of this year, Israeli investigators revealed that the IDF seized a considerable amount of Chinese-made weapons, including submachine guns and grenade launchers, from Hamas in the Gaza battlefield.

The report quoted Israeli intelligence sources saying, “This has surprised us because our pre-war relationship was good with China, but we have found a significant amount of Chinese weapons. The question is whether the arms were directly supplied by China (CCP) to Hamas?”
