Bay Area International Elite Association holds joint inaugural conference

On April 20, 2024, the International Elite Association in San Jose, Fremont, and San Francisco of the United States held a joint inauguration ceremony at the Chinese Cultural and Educational Center of the Bay Area. Currently, the International Elite Association has 73 chapters worldwide, with 16 chapters in the United States.

The joint inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Vice President of the International Elite Association, Wu Muye, and the event was attended by dignitaries including Mayor Zhao Yan of Saratoga, Councilwoman Huang Jieyi of Fremont, President Wu Yuping of the International Elite Association, President Wei Dezhen of the American Elite Association, President Yang Kunshan of the Northern California International Elite Association, President Wu Wenyi of the Silicon Valley International Elite Association, President Lu Fangyun of the All-American Chinese Women’s Association, President Cai Hongkai of the All-American College Association, President Wang Ruoyi of the Northern California Taiwan Chamber of Commerce, President Gao Chunhui of the Sino-American Women’s Business Association – Northern California Chapter, President Ma Qianjun of the San Jose Taiwanese Association, President Li Pingping of the San Jose Rescue and First Aid Association, and President Mao Xiaoling of the Chinese Association.

President Wu Yuping said, “The International Elite Association was founded in 1968 and has a history of 56 years. The aim of the Elite Association is to cultivate ethical qualities and noble character. We do not claim to be elites, but strive to be self-disciplined individuals, hoping to spread the spirit of elitism worldwide and make the world a brighter place.”

Wei Dezhen expressed her delight at witnessing the joint establishment of three chapters. She believes that with the collective efforts of the three chapter presidents, more people will join the Elite Association to promote its principles.

Zhou Weijun, President of the San Jose International Elite Association, said he is honored to serve as the President of the San Jose chapter. He pledged to lead members to fulfill the mission of the Elite Association.

Zhang Lirong, President of the Fremont International Elite Association in the United States, expressed her hope that each chapter would organize more activities to enhance mutual understanding and promote the principles of the Elite Association, making the community more harmonious.

Leung Suet-ching, President of the Peace International Elite Association in San Francisco, expressed her joy at being part of this platform and hoped to have the opportunity to do more beneficial things for the Bay Area and the Chinese community.

At the inauguration ceremony, Wu Yuping presented the three chapter presidents with sponsorship funds, and the flags and conference clocks were handcrafted in Taiwan and flown to the United States.

The joint inauguration ceremony concluded with all members singing the anthem of the Elite Association.
