【Mark Space】Ukraine Becomes Supplier of U.S. Military Drones

Ukraine has made a remarkable leap in the field of unmanned aerial vehicles after nearly four years of brutal warfare with Russia. The country has emerged as a global leader in certain areas of unmanned weapon technology, transforming into a “technology supplier” for the US military. Negotiations are underway between Ukraine and the United States for the sale of millions of drones, potentially leading to a historic agreement. The swift transition of Ukraine from a recipient of weapons aid to an exporter of weapons reflects the complementary strengths and weaknesses of the defense industries of both countries.

Since August, Ukraine has designated at least 16 out of 38 oil refineries within Russia as targets, resulting in a decline in Russian diesel exports to their lowest level since 2020. As a result of the tightening supply of refined oil products, over 20 regions in Russia have implemented rationing measures, with potential future restrictions on gasoline and diesel purchases in more areas, including the Moscow region.

In August, Ukraine showcased the “Neptune” long-range cruise missile, also known as “Neptune-L.” In early October, another variant of the Neptune missile named “Neptune-D” was unveiled, differing significantly from the previously introduced “Neptune-L.”
