White House Chief of Staff: Kirk’s campaigning was key to Trump’s victory

On Sunday, September 21st, White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles attended a memorial service held for conservative activist Charlie Kirk in Glendale, Arizona and delivered a speech. She praised Kirk for “building the most powerful youth movement of our time” and highlighted that President Trump’s victory in the 2024 election was crucially supported by Kirk, calling him the “key to victory” with the driving force behind it being the youth, which she referred to as Charlie’s “army”.

Wiles expressed her honor in working with Kirk in recent years, stating, “I believe at this moment he is looking down from Heaven, immersed in joy. Because his life, his words, and his courage to speak up for God, family, and country have built the most powerful youth movement of our time.”

She emphasized that for Kirk, “Making America Great Again (MAGA) means leading young people to join this movement and ensuring they understand their sense of belonging.”

“As our president has said, this is a movement based on common sense, with extraordinary significance. Love your God, love your family, love your country, and help the next generation bravely live out these values.”

She praised the profound impact of the “American Turning Point” movement among young people, stating that through this Turning Point movement, Kirk has helped countless young Americans to encounter the first true turning point in their lives — the moment they choose to stand up, speak out loudly, and make America the way it should be.

“With the collaboration between the president’s 2024 campaign and the ‘Turning Point’ organization, Charlie not only made promises but also kept those promises. Charlie and his team were fully committed to this mission, achieving not only their goals but surpassing expectations by far.”

“The driving force behind President Trump’s victory, winning popular votes in every swing state, was the youth, the majority of which were engaging in politics for the first time. This was Charlie’s ‘army.’ He ensured they understood the stakes involved. They worked harder, were more proactive, and performed exceptionally well.”

She stated, “Charlie didn’t just help, he was the key to victory, and I assure you of that. I believe Charlie is still urging us: do not stand idly by, do not remain silent, but proudly and loudly carry forward with the beliefs he showed, and continue to advance his mission.”

In conclusion, she appealed, “I implore all of you: let us commemorate Charlie in the best possible way, continue his work, progress on the foundation he laid, and ensure that this generation understands, this movement is their belonging.”
