A Chinese woman was detained by authorities for allegedly trespassing into the restricted area of the international departure hall of Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in a disorderly manner. It was reported that she had traveled to Malaysia at the end of last month but did not have enough money to purchase a ticket back to China. The incident has sparked discussions and debates.
In a video circulating online, several police officers were seen trying to remove a woman wearing a white top and pants. The woman screamed, shouting “No!” in Mandarin, and refused to cooperate. She went limp and lay on the floor, leading four female officers to carry her away. Throughout the ordeal, the woman continued to yell and struggle.
Several Malaysian media outlets such as Thestar, Thesun, and Sin Chew Daily have covered the incident.
The incident occurred on May 16th when a woman from China attempted to pass through the international departure hall of KLIA without a valid airplane ticket, resulting in her detainment by the police.
Assistant Police Commissioner Ravi, the chief of the KLIA police station, stated that the suspect behaved aggressively after being found without a valid ticket passing through the automated gate during the incident at Gate C of the international departure hall around 1:35 PM.
The woman was detained by the authorities, and upon preliminary investigation, it was revealed that she had entered the country for vacation on April 30th with friends but lacked the funds to purchase a return ticket to China.
Further investigations will be carried out under Section 7 of the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act 1959. Upon conviction, the individual could face a maximum fine of RM 1,000 or up to two years of imprisonment, or both.
The international departure hall of KLIA’s Terminal 1 is located on the second floor, and only passengers with boarding passes are allowed to enter the first floor for immigration procedures.
The incident has garnered disapproval among the Malaysian public.
Local netizens commented, “These Chinese people should really stay away from Malaysia, please!” “Causing a scene like this and getting sent back saves money on the ticket.” “Here comes another person from the powerful country.” “Wu Jing said that as long as you have a red passport, he can take you back to China.” “Not every Chinese person embarrasses themselves like this, but every embarrassing incident seems to involve a Chinese person.” “The visa-free policy is causing trouble; Malaysia should consider stopping it.”
Some netizens took this opportunity to criticize the leader of the Communist Party of China: “There is a saying among the Chinese people: during the Cultural Revolution, out of a thousand people, only sending one person to the countryside to cultivate leads to a glorious Beijing, and they claim to be ahead every day.” “Mainland China is a society where bad money drives out good, how did they pick such an uneducated fool from a group of people?” “Where is the propriety and humility? The red culture of struggle has been passed down through the generations.” “Deliberately promoting the lies of Chinese culture but self-proclaimed as the representative of China with a Marxist-Leninist flag!”
Just a few days ago, a similar incident occurred in Thailand.
On May 13th around 2:35 PM, a 30-year-old Chinese man named Liwei Zheng was scheduled to board Spring Airlines flight 9C7282 to Shanghai. However, he lost his temper at the Suvarnabhumi Airport’s second departure area’s automated gate DAE01 as his passport could not be recognized due to a machine error, causing the first gate not to open. He lost control, kicked the glass door of the machine fiercely, damaging it. Eventually, he forcefully passed through the machine and was subdued by the security personnel. The man is facing legal consequences.
Ms. Pang, originally from Guangdong, China, and residing in Southeast Asia, expressed to Epoch Times that before the Communist Party came to power, the Chinese people were not like this. China, with a 5,000-year-old civilization, was known for its courtesy and etiquette, with countries around the world coming to learn from China. Back then, the Chinese people had a belief in the divine, mainstream society focused on virtues and benevolence, and people could tolerate and compromise. This continued until the period of the Republic of China. However, after the Communist Party took control of mainland China, they carried out political movements and Marxist brainwashing, especially during the ten years of the Cultural Revolution, destroying traditional Chinese culture. Nowadays, Chinese people are prone to losing control in stressful situations. The brainwashing by the Communist Party has turned Chinese nationals traveling abroad into “wolf warriors,” but those who can see through the Communist Party’s tactics do not go along with the flow.
