On November 29, 2025, Melania Trump, the First Lady of the United States, announced the establishment of her production company, Muse Films, through social media on Friday, November 28. She also revealed the global release date of the company’s first documentary film, “MELANIA.”
The documentary, centered around the First Lady, is set to have its exclusive global theater premiere on January 30, 2026.
Muse Films, founded by Melania, is starting on a grand scale. It was reported that the licensing rights for the company’s debut work were acquired by Amazon MGM Studios for a whopping $40 million.
After its theatrical release, the film will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
Melania herself serves as the executive producer of this project. The documentary is directed by the renowned filmmaker Brett Ratner.
Melania unveiled the concept of this film for the first time at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards earlier this month. She explained that the idea came shortly after the 2024 presidential election with the aim of satisfying public curiosity about “what it’s like to be the First Lady of the United States.”
The documentary “MELANIA” focuses on a period that Melania describes as “unprecedented” for her: the 20 days leading up to the presidential inauguration in 2025. She characterized this time frame as “20 days of intense transformation.”
The film aims to capture her journey from an ordinary citizen to the First Lady, including her involvement in planning the inauguration and dealing with the complexities of the White House transition period.
Prior to this, Melania was honored at the Fox Nation Patriot Awards for her global advocacy work for children, receiving the “Patriot of the Year Award.” The official description of the film indicates that it will feature “exclusive footage, capturing key meetings, private conversations, and never-before-seen scenes,” providing viewers with unprecedented behind-the-scenes insights.
