Trump: No Evidence of Election Fraud This Year

On October 22, 2024, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump (also known as Trump) stated on Monday, October 21 that he has not seen any evidence yet indicating possible election fraud this year, but he still issued a warning to his opponents.

In September of this year, Trump posted a warning on the Truth Social platform, stating that anyone suspected of involvement in election fraud, including officials, lawyers, and voters, would be prosecuted and face the maximum sentence if he wins the election.

During a press conference held in North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helen, Trump was asked by a reporter if he had found any evidence suggesting possible election fraud this year.

Trump responded, saying, “I have not seen such evidence.” He added, “Unfortunately, I understand the other side, they are not good. But I have not seen such evidence.”

He then turned to Michael Whatley, the chairman of the Republican National Committee, and asked if he had noticed anything suspicious. Whatley stated that the voting had just begun, and the Republican Party is working hard to ensure election management, the voting process, and transparency in all 50 states across the country. He expressed satisfaction with the preliminary results so far.

Reportedly, Trump’s campaign team and the Republican National Committee have established a team to oversee “election integrity,” with approximately 175,000 volunteer poll watchers and election workers assisting the effort.

During the North Carolina press conference, Trump expressed condolences to those who lost loved ones, are still displaced, or are involved in post-disaster reconstruction efforts, and he stated that if re-elected, he would dedicate himself to helping with the rebuilding efforts in North Carolina.

Trump stated, “Natural disasters are a force beyond control, people are powerless in such situations, but you need to find a team that is superior in handling these issues (post-disaster rescue and reconstruction work), and this team should be able to do a better job than the current White House.”

In response to the accusations made by Trump regarding the hostile camp’s alleged “fraud,” U.S. President Biden made a statement earlier this month during a White House press briefing.

Biden expressed optimism about the fairness of the 2024 election, but voiced concerns about whether the election results could transition peacefully. He believed that Trump’s remarks could provoke tense situations or threaten democratic processes.

Biden said, “I am confident that this will be a free and fair election, but I do not know if it will be peaceful. Trump’s remarks this time and his remarks when he lost the election last time are both very dangerous.”
