Hebei girl bullied on campus, official blocks information.

In recent years, incidents of campus bullying have been frequent on the Chinese mainland, causing serious physical and mental harm to the victims. Recently, a shocking case of campus bullying occurred in Anggezhuang Town, Tangshan, Hebei Province, and the official information was blocked.

A source, who wished to remain anonymous, told Epoch Times that the bullied girl, Tingting, is a student at Anggezhuang Middle School, who has been relying on her grandfather since childhood. At the end of November 2025, Tingting was subjected to collective bullying by more than twenty male and female students, resulting in severe physical and mental injuries. The information was confirmed through local officials.

According to the source, during the incident, about twenty students, both boys and girls, used pencils and pens to insert into the girl’s private parts, causing bleeding. An ambulance was called after someone alerted the authorities. “It was too tragic, the floor was covered in blood.”

The source also revealed that after the incident, the school and local government blocked the information and tried to settle privately with the girl’s grandfather, threatening to delete posts from individuals who shared the news online. One person who uploaded the information received a call from the authorities an hour later requesting the post to be removed. “The information has been blocked, unable to be disseminated. This incident is considered more severe in the context of campus bullying. Officials dare not discuss the matter and prefer to bury it, with county leaders deeming it too sensitive.”

Journalists tried to contact Anggezhuang Middle School but received no response.

Tingting’s ordeal is just the tip of the iceberg in campus bullying incidents. Cases of teachers bullying students have also sparked public outrage.

Han Yu’s daughter excels academically but suffered from depression after being bullied by a teacher at school, leading to a suicide attempt. Han Yu reported the school’s negligence, but the school and the implicated teacher became even more hostile under the protection of local government officials. Han Yu has faced prolonged suppression while seeking justice.

Han Yu pointed out that under the protectionist system of the Chinese Communist Party and a failing education mechanism, children endure unwarranted harm and suffering, which is heartbreaking.

She said, “Nowadays, there are many cases of teachers hitting students and bullying among students, resulting in incidents of children jumping off buildings or deaths. According to investigations in China, over 30% of middle school students suffer from depression, and this is a relatively conservative figure.”

She called on parents to bravely speak out for their children and defend their rights. “The resentment among the public in China is strong. As officials, you already hold a vast majority of power, why do you still want to harm us? We will definitely resist.”
