On November 24th, the official report announced that Xiao Feng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of the Li Autonomous County in Lingao, Hainan Province, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently under investigation. A few days ago, he was reported by name for disrupting another person’s family.
On November 19th, Mr. Cheng from Changsha, Hunan, posted on social media holding his ID card, making a public report against Xiao Feng, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of Li Autonomous County in Hainan Lingao, for disrupting his family. He accused Xiao Feng of maintaining an improper relationship with his wife for a long time, and shared several chat screenshots between his wife and Xiao Feng that contained ambiguous content.
According to Mr. Cheng, on November 20th at 2:27 PM, he submitted a written report and evidence to the Hainan Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and received a call confirming that Xiao Feng had been taken away for investigation.
Public information shows that Xiao Feng, born in October 1982, is from Hengyang, Hunan. He joined the Communist Party of China in December 2002.
He has long served in the Hainan Provincial Government Office, holding positions such as Deputy Director of the Secretariat Eight Branch, Commissioner of the Inspectorate in the Secretarial Office, and Commissioner of the Inspectorate in the Secretariat Eight Branch. In 2020, he became a Standing Committee Member of the Le Dong Li Autonomous County Party Committee on secondment and was appointed Deputy Secretary of the Li Autonomous County Party Committee in Lingao in 2021.
