On Sunday, March 22, the US Central Command released two photos showing the before and after comparison of a drone production facility in Iran that supports the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The Central Command also released a video of a US military airstrike on an Iranian drone facility.
According to the Central Command, the Qom turbo engine manufacturing plan supports the IRGC in producing gas turbine engines for attack drones and other aircraft components.
The first photo was taken on March 6, 2026, showing the condition of the drone facility before the US military strike. The second photo was taken three days later, showing the facility severely damaged after the “devastating” strike.
Earlier on Sunday, the Central Command also released a video showing the scene of an airstrike on a drone facility in Iran. The video caption stated that the US military is continuously destroying Iran’s ability to unilaterally attack with drones, which Iran has used to recklessly target civilians in the Middle East.
The Central Command also released comparison photos of an Iranian missile factory before and after a US military airstrike. The Command stated that the Iranian regime had been assembling short, medium, and long-range ballistic missiles at the Kuh-E Barjamali missile assembly plant. The first photo shows the scene on March 1, 2026. The photo from March 7, 2026, shows the current state of the factory, which has now ceased operations.
Iranian drones and missiles continue to attack neighboring countries. On Sunday, the UAE Defense Ministry announced that they are responding to “missile and drone attacks from Iran.”
The Saudi Arabian Defense Ministry also stated that they are responding to drone attacks from Iran in the eastern and northern border regions of the country.
The Kuwaiti Armed Forces mentioned that their air defense systems are intercepting “enemy missile and drone threats.”
Last Thursday, on March 19, Pentagon data showed that the US military had conducted over 8,000 flight missions, targeting over 7,800 sites within Iran, significantly impacting Iran’s ballistic missile and drone capabilities.
The effectiveness of Iran’s ballistic missile and suicide drone attacks has decreased by 90%. The US military reported destroying or damaging over 120 Iranian navy vessels, including all 11 submarines.
