Mainland singer crushed to death by electric chair, insider reveals details.

In recent days, the news of a female lead singer of a band in mainland China being crushed to death by an electric seat frame in Jiaxing, Zhejiang has sparked widespread attention and discussions.

On November 12, the independent band “Ordinary Rock Band” posted an obituary on social media, announcing that their lead singer, Jie Huijun (stage name Ah Zhen), was accidentally crushed by an electric seat frame during work on the morning of the 9th. This led to fractured ribs and difficulty breathing. Despite being rushed to the hospital for over ten hours of rescue efforts, she passed away in the early hours of November 10.

Many netizens expressed their condolences in the comments. Some were confused about the term “electric seat frame,” mistakenly thinking it was referring to an electric car seat.

On the evening of November 13, the band released another statement clarifying that it was not an electric car seat but a large seat in a theater, urging people not to be misled.

According to reports from Jimo News, a friend of “Ah Zhen” in Dalian said that she suffered fractured ribs from being crushed by an electric seat on the stage. Her family rushed from Dalian to Jiaxing on the day of the incident to handle the aftermath.

The incident took place at the Jiaxing 536 Art Space. The person in charge of the venue confirmed that “Ah Zhen” had unfortunately passed away after being crushed by an electric seat inside the venue. They have already settled with her family, stating that “this was an accident.”

On November 14, Orange Persimmon reporters contacted various local sources. Several locals who had visited the venue where the incident occurred mentioned that the seats inside were electrically foldable and could be folded back against the wall.

However, neither the band involved nor the venue provided detailed information on the specifics of the incident, leaving many questions unanswered.
