Nicole Kidman’s Divorce Settlement Revealed, Ending 19-Year Marriage with Urban

58-year-old Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and 57-year-old country singer Keith Urban have been married for 19 years. The celebrity couple, long hailed as a model of love in the entertainment industry, officially completed their divorce proceedings on January 6, 2026, after rumors of marital discord surfaced in September last year.

On January 6, court documents obtained by the US entertainment gossip media “Page Six” revealed that both Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban agreed to waive child support and spousal support. Their 17-year-old daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and 15-year-old daughter Faith Margaret will live with Nicole for 306 days a year, while Keith will have 59 days of visitation annually, equivalent to “every other weekend” opportunities.

The details in the documents show that both Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have monthly incomes exceeding $100,000, hence reaching a consensus not to pay child support. At the same time, they will not pay spousal support to each other and will each bear their own legal fees. As for asset distribution, they have decided to handle investments, bank accounts, vehicles, and personal belongings through a “mutual agreement,” essentially retaining their respective assets. Whether the couple signed a prenuptial agreement remains unknown to the public.

The revelation of this divorce agreement comes less than six months after rumors of marital issues emerged at the end of September last year, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split. Insiders had previously disclosed to the media that they had been living separately since the summer of 2024, leading independent lives due to Nicole’s busy filming schedule and Keith’s world tour, leaving them with little time together as a couple.

The Australian-born celebrity couple tied the knot in 2006 and have two daughters. Their last public appearance together was in June 2025 at a soccer event held in Nashville, Tennessee, and they shared a sweet photo on social media on their anniversary on June 25th.

According to “Time Magazine,” when interviewed last year, Nicole Kidman expressed her dislike for being labeled as a “Superwoman” despite receiving praise for her hard work. She felt uneasy with the label often used for women who balance family and career, as she found it difficult to juggle both due to her busy schedule. She emphasized that she faced similar challenges as other working women and refuted being called a “Superwoman.”

In 2024, Nicole Kidman released films like “A Family Affair,” “Spellbound,” “Babygirl,” and TV shows such as “The Perfect Couple,” “Expats,” and “Lioness Season 2.” Her productive output in the industry translated into a high income, with Forbes reporting her earnings in 2024 as $31 million, making her the only female star on the top ten global earners list.

Nicole Kidman, who had a packed schedule in 2024, stunned the public by announcing her temporary departure from the entertainment industry in March 2025.

Nicole Kidman has four children, including two daughters from her marriage with Keith Urban and a son and a daughter adopted during her ten-year marriage to Tom Cruise.

Reports suggest that Keith Urban has recently been linked to a new romance with 25-year-old tour guitarist Maggie Baugh. Speculation arose when he sang a song in an Instagram video believed to be written for Nicole Kidman, but substituted “baby” with “Maggie,” sparking widespread speculation and discussion.

Earlier reports indicated that when Keith Urban moved out of their residence and found a new home, it was described as a “one-sided departure” from the family. Additionally, Nicole Kidman had supported Keith Urban in facing his addiction issues during their marriage and made several efforts to salvage the relationship, but his indifference led to the ultimate breakdown. Insiders described how Nicole Kidman’s genuine concern for Keith Urban’s well-being became a significant source of stress for both parties.
