“New York Man Steals Toy Money from 10-Year-Old, Wanted by Police”

In a recent incident in New York City, a man dressed in black snatched a bundle of cash from a 10-year-old boy on the street, only to find out that the money was all fake bills. The man is now wanted by the police for robbery, while locals are mocking his foolishness and remarking on the swift karma that followed.

According to a report by News 12 on December 29th, the incident took place near 42nd Street in Borough Park, a neighborhood in the southwest part of Brooklyn, on Christmas Day around 6 p.m. The man grabbed the toy money from the boy’s hands and quickly made his getaway.

Fortunately, the boy was unharmed during the incident. The suspect was described as wearing a black hoodie, black pants, a black hat, and black sneakers. Anyone with information on this person is urged to call the tip line at 1-800-577-TIPS.

Local residents shared their thoughts on this bizarre case during interviews with the television station.

Anthony Torres from Sunset Park expressed his surprise, saying, “How could you not tell real money from fake?”

Daniel Belyy from Dyker Heights joked, “I think the thief got what he deserved, so I guess this counts as direct karma.”

In a similar incident last October in New York City, a 10-year-old boy named Amir Nur from Crown Heights encountered a knife-wielding man demanding money from him.

Nur stated that he didn’t have any money on him, but the man insisted. Ultimately, Nur had to go home to get $20 from his piggy bank, with the man following him and waiting outside.

Fortunately, the man left without harming Nur. The New York City police have launched an investigation into this incident.
