On the eve of the New Year in 2026, several victims of the COVID-19 vaccine went to the Beijing National Health Commission to voice their demands and request a meeting with the director, Lei Haichao. However, they were taken away by the police on the grounds of “disturbing public order.”
On December 29, Sun Nala, Li Luguang, Chen Anwen, Guo Haixu, and other victims of the COVID-19 vaccine went to the Beijing Health Commission to seek justice. Sun Nala was taken away by the police and summoned back to Hubei under the accusation of “disturbing public order,” while others were taken away by local authorities.
Li Luguang’s wife, Wang Miao, received doses of the Beijing Kexing inactivated vaccine on February 19 and March 13, 2021. In October of the same year, she was diagnosed with conditions including pulmonary embolism and MDS/MPN (myelodysplastic syndrome/myeloproliferative neoplasm). She tragically passed away from pulmonary embolism on May 16, 2023, at the young age of 39.
Li Luguang expressed to Dajiyuan that the medical assessment issued by the Beijing Medical Association stating it was a “coincidence” was unacceptable to him. He believes that the assessment was falsified despite submitting numerous pieces of evidence and cases that indicated a connection to the vaccine.
Li Luguang revealed that they visited top hospitals in Beijing, where experts believed there was a link to the vaccine but were reluctant to openly admit it due to authorities prohibiting hospitals from disclosing relevant information about vaccines. The Health Commission held meetings internally, forbidding doctors from discussing anything related to vaccines with patients, resulting in doctors expressing regret without offering further details.
The passing of Wang Miao brought immense psychological trauma to their two young children and led to both elderly members of the family passing away from excessive grief. Li Luguang himself developed depression as a consequence.
He remains determined to seek justice for his late wife. Li Luguang expressed his frustration with the bureaucratic runaround encountered in various government departments from bottom to top. Feeling that the authorities regard ordinary people’s lives as insignificant, he believes there is no way forward for justice in mainland China. He has filed for administrative reconsideration and accused the Beijing Medical Association of making a false “coincidence” conclusion. Following their visit to the Health Commission on December 29, authorities began surveilling and monitoring him.
Beijing’s Changping district resident, Liu Yanling, is another victim of the vaccine and received the Beijing Kexing COVID-19 vaccine in 2021. One week later, she fell ill and was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis). The disease progressed to the point where she experienced limb weakness and became unable to care for herself. Liu Yanling visited several top hospitals in Beijing, where experts likewise refrained from attributing her condition to the vaccine.
“Doctors asked me if I had received the vaccine, and the medical records from Zhong Ri Hospital clearly stated, ‘unknown cause, drug and biologic product poisoning.’ Xuanwu Hospital recorded that I had received the COVID-19 vaccine before falling ill,” she said.
Liu Yanling, who used to run a business, experienced significant changes in her life after falling ill. Her family spent hundreds of thousands of yuan on medical treatment. They now barely make ends meet relying on the retirement funds of her in-laws.
She urged the public to pay attention to the group of vaccine victims: “I’ve been seeking treatment and rehabilitation, without any government assistance. Yet, they spend a hundred thousand annually on a security company to monitor and intimidate someone like me, a powerless victim.”
This poignant plea for compassion highlights the ongoing struggles faced by these individuals and underscores the need for acknowledgment and support for those who have suffered from vaccine-related complications.
