Violent incidents in China have been on the rise, with another knife attack occurring in Guangxi, resulting in three deaths and one injury.
According to a report from the Xincheng County Public Security Bureau in Guangxi on December 19th, a knife attack took place in a residential area in Guanzhen Town in Xincheng County that morning. The 35-year-old suspect with the surname Guo has been apprehended, and the injured individuals have been hospitalized for treatment. The case is currently under further investigation.
The declining economy in China has brought about difficulties for the people, leading to a severe sense of unease in society that remains unresolved under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party. Over the past six months, numerous knife attack incidents have occurred in various regions. In October of this year, a 69-year-old man in Liuzhou, Guangxi, attacked his neighbors with a knife before falling to his death along with four others, leaving one injured.
In August, a knife attack near a school in Leiyang City, Hunan Province, resulted in 2 deaths and 3 injuries. In June, a knife attack and arson incident in Luzhou, Sichuan Province, led to 1 death and 2 injuries.
On the afternoon of December 3rd, a 41-year-old man attacked others with a knife on the streets of Wuhan, resulting in the unfortunate death of a victim who was taken to the hospital. Authorities have not disclosed further information about the incident.
On December 6th, a fatal knife attack took place at the Dadonghai Beach in Sanya, Hainan Province, where a 52-year-old man used a fruit knife to kill three people.
In the evening of December 17th, a knife attack occurred at the Poised Dragon Square in Hengqin, Zhuhai, Guangdong. According to the Huashang Newspaper’s “Dafeng News” report, staff members at the mall indicated that the incident was likely triggered by a dispute between customers, and the mall has already reported the incident to the police. However, they are unsure whether the perpetrator has been apprehended or not.
