On December 12, 2025, JetBlue Airways will unveil its first airport lounge in New York City at the John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 5 known as the “BlueHouse”. The lounge, inspired by a New York City apartment, features 9000 square feet of space spread across two levels, decorated in an art deco style with open seating and complimentary Wi-Fi.
While “BlueHouse” is smaller than some of its larger competitors, it can accommodate up to 140 people and offers customers a taste of New York with options like bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches for breakfast, and pastrami on rye for afternoon snacks. Drink options include Joe Coffee and craft beers from the Greats of Craft chain.
The lounge’s cocktail partner is the Please Don’t Tell bar, reflecting the sophistication of the Manhattan East Village underground bar.
Passengers booking JetBlue Airways’ transatlantic Mint business class can bring in one guest for free at “BlueHouse”, with additional guests charged $39 each. Premier Mastercard holders can bring in one guest for free and subsequent guests will be charged $39 each.
JetBlue Airways’ top-tier loyalty program members, Mosaic 4-level loyalty members, also have access to the lounge.
Starting in February, the airline plans to sell passes to lower-tier loyalty members, passengers flying in Mint class on international trips, credit card holders, and lounge members without disclosing the pricing.
Passengers holding basic economy class tickets are not eligible for free entry or one-time lounge passes.
JetBlue Airways also plans to open another “BlueHouse” service center next year at its Boston hub.
With this new offering, JetBlue Airways joins major airlines like Delta Air Lines in targeting high-end customers who are willing to spend more on travel, aiming to compete in the airline industry alongside credit card companies like JPMorgan Chase, American Express, and Capital One.
