Fire Breaks Out in a Three-story Residential Building in a Community in Shanghai, Elderly Person Jumps from Building to Escape

On the morning of December 4th, a residential building in a three-story complex in the Huangpu District of Shanghai caught fire, emitting a large amount of smoke. During the evacuation process, an elderly person jumped from the second floor and sustained injuries.

According to a video posted by a netizen on the morning of December 4th, a residential building in the Huangpu District of Shanghai was engulfed in thick smoke due to a fire.

Reported by Xinmin Evening News, around 10:40 am on the 4th, a fire broke out in a residential building in the 1200 block of Quxi Road in the Huangpu District. The building on fire was a three-story residential building, with thick smoke billowing from inside. A resident at the scene mentioned that an elderly person was injured after jumping from the second floor during the evacuation process and was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.

At 12:19 pm on the 4th, the Shanghai Huangpu Fire Department reported that the residential fire at the 1200 block of Quxi Road has been extinguished.
