Tang Qing’s Perspective on Current Affairs: Full Exposure of CCP’s Dark Tricks to Suppress Taiwan

Hello everyone, welcome to “Tang Qing News Review”.

Today, we are going to talk about the new weapon developed by the CCP under the sea – the “Deep Sea Scissors” that can cut off the global lifeline. It is specifically designed to destroy underwater cables, able to dive to a depth of four thousand meters, and effortlessly cut through armored cables, enough to paralyze global communication.

Not only that, the CCP has been frequently launching “gray zone operations” around Taiwan, using “coasters” to cut cables and create disturbances, seemingly peaceful but actually advancing step by step, meddling everywhere.

What’s even more frightening is that they are fully prepared to blockade Taiwan: military exercises, cable warfare, port mining, cyber attacks, all scenarios rehearsed and ready to turn into real war at any moment.

Today, we will uncover these dark secrets for you to see the shocking truth. Remember to like, subscribe, and hit the bell icon so you won’t miss the latest updates!

According to the “South China Morning Post,” the China Ship Scientific Research Center has recently developed a device specialized in disrupting underwater communication systems – the Deep Sea Cable Cutter. It can dive to a depth of four thousand meters under the sea and directly cut through the world’s most robust armored communication cables.

Do not underestimate this device, as 97% of international internet traffic relies on underwater cables. If these cables are damaged, the global communication system would immediately collapse.

These cables are typically multi-layered with steel, rubber, polymers for protection, but the device produced by the CCP is equipped with high-speed diamond sand wheels, capable of easily cutting steel cables.

It also includes mechanical arms and deep-sea positioning systems, allowing precise operation even in low-light conditions. These devices are also complemented by CCP’s “Striver” and “Haidou” diving systems, with the whole equipment featuring a titanium alloy shell and hydraulic sealing structure to withstand high-pressure environments.

The technology is considered to have the potential for “dual-use” in military and civilian purposes, raising high alert among international security experts.

The so-called “dual-use” aspect is just a fig leaf for the CCP! This technology is essentially designed for military sabotage but disguised as “civilian use.” The international community should have seen through these tactics long ago.

Once equipped on submarines, this device can easily approach key regions underwater, such as Guam, Hawaii, the Philippines. If they cut off communication lines, the entire Asia-Pacific communication system could be paralyzed.

Some argue that the “South China Morning Post” is a Hong Kong media outlet, boasting about CCP’s new weapons. In my opinion, Hong Kong media is also a CCP mouthpiece, isn’t Hong Kong under the CCP’s control? So, this is the CCP blatantly showing off its threat and provocation to the world, boasting its grip on the global communication lifeline, ready to create chaos at any time.

Even more unsettling is the CCP quietly constructing so-called “deep-sea space stations” underwater, actually military outposts.

According to the exposed information, it can accommodate six people to stay 2000 meters deep underwater for up to a month, indicating a long-term presence for control and monitoring underwater.

During the Russia-Ukraine War, after Russia’s natural gas pipelines were damaged, the international community has been highly vigilant about similar “underwater warfare.” Now, with the CCP showcasing this device, is it just a coincidence?

Let’s look at another sinister tactic they are using around Taiwan – “gray zone operations.”

What is the “gray zone”? In simple terms, it means they are not openly using force but engaging in discreet disturbances and sabotage. Recently, Taiwan’s underwater cables have been frequently cut, with the hidden hand behind it likely controlled by the CCP using “coasters.”

Officially, this ship flies the flag of Togo, but according to Taiwan’s report, all eight crew members onboard are Chinese. The vessel, “Hongtai 58,” is accused of dragging anchors near the “Taiwan-Penghu Third Cable,” resulting in cable fractures. The Taiwan government has handled the case as a matter of national security and transferred it to the Tainan District Prosecutor’s Office for investigation.

And this is not an isolated incident. As reported by the “Financial Times,” the Taiwanese government has long been aware of several Chinese-backed “coasters” active around the Taiwan Strait. These so-called “coasters” fly foreign flags but are controlled by the CCP, engaging in covert operations. On the surface, they appear as ordinary freighters.

In my opinion, these “coasters” are just CCP’s fig leaves, flying flags of other countries but manned by CCP personnel, conducting shady operations! These despicable tactics expose the CCP’s rogue nature.

Currently, Taiwan has identified 96 “coasters,” monitoring them according to threat levels. The “Hongtai 58” was classified as a moderate threat. Taiwan has established monitoring mechanisms, capturing perpetrators relies on precise tracking of suspicious behaviors such as abnormal lingering and anchoring in the cable area.

On March 4th, Guan Bi-Ling, Chairperson of the Ocean Affairs Council, reported to the Legislative Yuan that since January this year, six incidents of underwater cable fractures have occurred in Taiwan’s vicinity. Two of them are suspected of being caused by Chinese-backed “coasters,” while three others resulted from non-human factors.

With Taiwan’s dependence on 20 seabed cables being repeatedly damaged, such disruptions may not direct a military conflict, but are enough to significantly impact Taiwan’s infrastructure, economic operations, and communication systems.

Similar incidents have occurred before, like the Matsu Cable Damage in 2023, causing internet blackout and communication disruptions, leading to public outcry.

The Taiwan government has categorized submarine cables as critical infrastructure, proposing enhanced patrols, protection measures. However, the challenge lies in many of the destructions being classified as “non-flagrant offenses,” making it difficult to gather evidence and enforce the law. Moreover, current regulations for non-flagrant or ceased cases remain insufficient, making the subsequent handling quite challenging.

Therefore, I believe that the CCP is taking advantage of these legal loopholes to act wantonly! It is well aware that such actions are difficult to be held accountable, which is why it dares to be so brazen. The National Security Research Institute pointed out that the CCP’s gray zone tactics have already posed a “quasi-aggression.” UN Resolution 3314 clearly states: a blockade is an act of aggression.

Currently, Taiwan is evaluating stronger response mechanisms, including referencing the “Changhua Wind Farm” model to designate specific sea lanes in territorial waters, restrict entry of high-risk vessels while strengthening the collaborative enforcement between coast guard and navy to enhance deterrence capabilities.

According to the “Wall Street Journal,” the CCP’s military has made the most comprehensive preparations to conduct a “blockade war” against Taiwan at a critical moment.

The aim is to cut off Taiwan’s ties with the outside world, forcing Taiwan to succumb.

The report also pointed out that if the CCP implements a blockade, it will not only require a response from Taiwan, but the United States must also decide immediately whether to deploy troops. If the situation escalates, not even European countries would exclude imposing sanctions against the CCP.

The CCP’s blockade measures include maritime and airspace blockade, cyberattacks, port mining, cutting underwater cables, or even using so-called “civilian ships” in conjunction with military actions, all scripted by them and practiced in recent years.

Take a few examples:

They may encircle Taiwan with warships, maintaining a distance from the coastlines to avoid Taiwan’s anti-ship missile ranges, while positioning aircraft carrier strike groups in the southeast direction, with J-15 fighter jets provocatively flying back and forth in the air to intimidate the U.S. military.

Additionally, they might dispatch “maritime police” and so-called “maritime militia,” using civilian ships to fill gaps to make it appear as if “there is no direct military conflict,” but actually enforcing a blockade.

Moreover, they could deploy submarines and place sea mines outside several major Taiwanese ports, conduct “inspections” on commercial ships with enforcement vessels to disrupt the logistics entirely.

On the cyber front, the “Wall Street Journal” specifically mentioned that the CCP might once again use cargo ships to “drag anchors” and cut cables to directly paralyze Taiwan’s network, or even conduct hacker attacks targeting Taiwan’s financial system and military command systems.

In October last year, the CCP conducted the largest-ever encirclement exercise targeting Taiwan, deploying 125 aircraft, helicopters, drones, over 90 warships, coast guard ships, forming a “heart-shaped blockade” display, essentially muscle-flexing to intimidate the Taiwanese people. Such aggressive behavior is completely contradictory to its rhetoric of “peaceful reunification,” exposing its hypocrisy and ambitions. This is not a “peaceful exercise,” but a blatant military threat!

According to the data of the “Wall Street Journal,” the CCP currently possesses over 1,900 jet fighters, 500 bombers, more than 3,000 missiles, and 59 submarines, including 6 nuclear-powered submarines carrying ballistic missiles.

Moreover, China is the world’s largest shipbuilding country, possessing a greater number of warships than the United States, and is expected to have 425 warships by 2030, one-third more than the U.S., though not matching the U.S. in quality.

The article also mentioned that 96% of Taiwan’s energy and 70% of its food rely on imports. Once these channels are cut off, Taiwan could be pushed to the brink of collapse.

Furthermore, the CCP might play dirty by implementing “new rules,” such as mandatory inspections of ships entering or leaving Taiwan, or using the threat of “disobedient shipping companies being barred from entering China” to coerce international businesses into compliance.

Lin Yang, a senior advisor at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), mentioned that the CCP currently has the capability to enforce isolation at any moment, and Beijing is more likely to choose a “step-by-step escalation” approach, gradually trapping Taiwan and testing the bottom line of the international community.

Huang Zongding, defense analyst at the Taiwan Institute of National Defense and Security, also pointed out that Xi Jinping has not taken action yet for a key reason – the attitude of President Trump. The CCP is actually quite concerned about President Trump being more hardline than anyone else because if a real conflict breaks out, it would not bode well for them.

The article concluded by pointing out that Taiwan’s most significant concern is not how strong the CCP’s military power is, but if the U.S. decides to “take a step back,” the entire situation in the Taiwan Strait could collapse overnight.

The CCP’s ambitions extend beyond the Asia-Pacific, with global interventions in weaponry, energy, and infrastructure infiltration, leaving no stone unturned.

Let’s start with the arms trade. Grant Rumley, Director of the Big Power Competition Project at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, commented that seizing the opportunity as Russia’s arms exports decline, the CCP is quickly taking advantage of the situation to grab market share.

Countries that used to rely on Russian arms are now turning to the CCP due to shortages of spare parts and logistical difficulties. The CCP promptly promotes its own fighter jets, missiles, and air defense systems, with target customers including Pakistan, Myanmar, Algeria, Serbia, and Argentina.

However, this move is not solely about making deals; it’s predominantly about expanding influence through arm sales. By selling at low prices, offering flexible payment terms and loose conditions, the CCP is gradually substituting U.S. military influence step by step.

This demonstrates the CCP’s opportunistic nature, taking advantage of others’ vulnerabilities! It is not about helping these countries, but about expanding influence with the aim to replace the U.S. status.

The analysis suggests that the Trump administration can contain the CCP on two fronts. Firstly, continue sanctions on CCP military companies, crucial weapons like those designated in Executive Orders 13959 and 14032 are critical; secondly, enhance diplomatic pressure on countries seeking to procure CCP weapons, using a combination of carrot and stick tactics.

At the same time, the U.S. can rely on allies to step in, countries like France, the UK, Israel, and South Korea that can compete for contracts. Last year, South Korea’s FA-50 fighter jets defeated the CCP’s JF-17 (Thunder) in a bid, securing a major order from Malaysia, a successful example.

Despite the tempting low prices of CCP weapons, these armaments come with a host of problems. Some countries only realized the training manuals were all in Chinese after purchase, facing poor after-sales services, and interrupted spare parts supply leading to grounding of entire squadrons. Iraq is a prime example, struggling with the CH-4 (Rainbow 4) drones. If the U.S. can expose these “side effects,” it could directly undermine CCP’s appeal in the arms market.

In addition to arms exports, the CCP has also engaged in economic infiltration.

Craig Rucker, Chairman of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow (CFACT), pointed out that Trump’s announcement of tariffs in February was not just an economic measure but also a clear message to the CCP: the new sheriff is here, the U.S. won’t turn a blind eye anymore.

Rucker mentioned that the CCP nearly monopolizes global resources like rare earths, graphite, cobalt, setting prices low using cheap energy, forced labor, and lax environmental standards to dominate the global market.

What’s worse, they are using “green energy” as a whitewashing tool. While appearing environmentally friendly, they are channeling funds through various “energy foundations” to quietly funnel money into U.S. universities, radical organizations, influencing policies and legislations, directing U.S. energy policies towards CCP’s interests.

In reality, this is not a green revolution but a “green trap”. Outwardly phasing out fossil fuels, in reality, it’s making the U.S. increasingly reliant on CCP’s wind turbines, solar panels, batteries, transformers… banning coal on one hand and buying goods from the CCP on the other.

It’s not “green energy,” it’s the “red trap” of the CCP! It is using false environmental slogans to mask its infiltration intent, aiming to make the U.S. and Western countries unknowingly dependent on its technology, revealing its deceitful nature.

Moreover, more concerning is that the CCP is not just engaging in economic infiltration but directly implanting “backdoors” into critical infrastructures in the U.S.

Former FBI Director Christopher Ray warned in January on the “60 Minutes” program that the CCP has already inserted backdoors into U.S. water treatment facilities, electric grids, natural gas pipelines, and transportation networks. When the situation escalates, they could launch cyberattacks at any moment, causing social chaos.

Just imagine if they simultaneously cut off the water supply, shut down the power, disrupt transportation, U.S. cities would be plunged into chaos, and the population would be defenseless, representing a real, existing security threat.

Fortunately, the firm stance of the Trump administration is gradually reversing the situation. While tariffs may not solve all issues, they are sending out clear signals – the U.S. will no longer ignore the CCP’s infiltration activities.

One more thing you might have overlooked is that the CCP is actually Iran’s biggest accomplice evading sanctions.

The “Wall Street Journal” pointed out that while the Biden administration talks about sanctioning Iran, the country’s oil exports have surged. From an average of 300,000 barrels per day in 2020 to now 1.7 million barrels, with 90% of this oil being sold to China.

In essence, the reason Iran thrives is due to the CCP’s support behind the scenes. Of course, the Trump administration will not stand idly by.

On March 20, the Trump administration imposed sanctions on the CCP’s “Shouguang Luching Petrochemical Co., Ltd.,” a company that purchased $500 million of crude oil from Iran.

The article also mentioned that the CCP is evading sanctions through so-called “teapot refineries,” but these refineries are connected to the CCP’s domestic energy network. Once named, not only the refinery but also transportation, ports, finance, and insurance companies would be affected.

The CCP’s weakness is, it cannot withstand such targeted strikes. Once sanctions hit hard, it might retreat.

The article concluded by emphasizing the key point: to truly cripple the ability of the Iranian regime, cutting off its oil exports is vital. To achieve this, the first step is to shut down the CCP’s “backdoor channel.”

With that being said, everyone can see the CCP as the contemporary villain creating chaos globally. Facing a regime with no boundaries, I strongly believe that the international community cannot afford to turn a blind eye any longer. Each expansion of the CCP challenges the bottom line of humanity! This evil regime must not be tolerated by human society. Therefore, individuals within the CCP system should stop lingering and quickly withdraw from this organization to secure a way out for themselves and their families.
