Amazing! Bride Predicted Her Husband at the Age of 4 While Shooting Videos

36-year-old Kira Nixon from Ontario, Canada, always knew who her destined husband would be. In a video captured when she was 4 years old, she confidently declared the identity of her future husband.

After rediscovering this video in her adulthood, the mother of two was deeply touched. In the video, her father asked her, “Who will you marry?” and the adorable young Kira didn’t hesitate to respond, “No one else! Only Timmy! Timmy Nixon, that’s him!”

Years later, Kira started dating Timmy, who is a year older than her. One day, while Timmy visited Kira’s parents’ home, her mother dug out some old family videos.

“We were watching the videos,” Kira told Epoch Times, “and then that segment suddenly appeared. We couldn’t believe it. My dad didn’t remember recording it, and my mom didn’t either. It was just stored in our family archives.”

“We laughed so much, ‘Oh my goodness, well, now we have to get married.'”

The couple tied the knot in 2014 and now have two beautiful children. They have realized their dream on a 10-acre farm where they raise a pony, chickens, and bees. Kira homeschools their children, and they prioritize God in their lives.

On October 5th, their 10th wedding anniversary, Kira shared the childhood clip of her declaring her affection for Timmy, and the video quickly went viral online.

Kira mentioned that their love story wasn’t always smooth sailing.

They first met at Sunday school, where Kira found her new friend “adorable and interesting.” She invited Timmy to her 6th birthday party, but things didn’t go entirely as planned.

“He wasn’t interested in me. I kissed the back of his head, and he got really mad and had his mom take him home,” she laughed.

When Kira was 10, her family moved away. Despite being just a few hours’ drive apart, they started to lose touch as high school began.

“We lost touch almost completely,” she said, “I had a boyfriend, and he had a girlfriend. When I turned 18, our families moved back to our hometown.”

As a talented singer, Kira had just begun her professional performing career, frequently moving between cities for shows. Yet she would still visit her family, and luckily, on one of these visits, she reconnected with Timmy at church.

“He liked my silver shimmering dress,” she said, “and said, ‘Oh my, I think I want to take her on a date.'”

On their first night out, they stayed up chatting by the riverside until dawn, watching ships pass by.

“We just talked and talked and talked,” Kira said, “and he went home and told his parents, ‘I think I’m going to marry Kira.'”

The couple, then 19 and 20 years old, dated for a while before the ambitious young singer signed a performance contract in Japan. While Timmy started his engineering job and settled in their small town, Kira began traveling the world.

The couple split up, but after living and working in Japan for some time, Kira realized something was missing in her life without Timmy.

“I realized that without Tim, all of this wasn’t worth it,” she said, “So one day I called him on Skype and asked, ‘Do you want to be my boyfriend again?’ He said, ‘yes.'”

Soon, Timmy flew to see her, and the couple stayed together in Japan for some time. Finally, after two years of dating, Timmy, now owning his own wakeboarding business, proposed to Kira during a large watersports show in Toronto.

“It was a really special proposal,” she said, “There were thousands of people there, and it’s usually broadcast on TV. There was a TV crew on-site. I didn’t know beforehand, but he called me in front of all those people for the proposal… I said, ‘Yes!'”

Kira mentioned that her mother always felt that this couple was destined to be together.

“She told me, ‘God always told me that one day you would marry Tim. I always had that feeling—even when you were a little girl, just 2 or 3 years old in church—that this is the boy for you.'” Kira said.

Now, happily married, the couple embraces farm life, living self-sufficiently and connected with nature, feeling truly fulfilled.

“I felt a real calling in my heart to slow down, be home with my kids, and be the most significant influence on their lives. My husband and I both felt this was the best thing, and it’s just great,” Kira mentioned about their decision to homeschool their children.

“God is the most important in our lives. We sincerely believe that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life to Heaven. This is the most important thing we teach our children; everything stems from this.”

If she could go back and say something to the little girl in the video, what would Kira say?

“I would tell her that everything you dream of will come true. Don’t be discouraged. Continue to put God first, and He will guide all your paths. Everything will be great,” Kira said.
