On December 27th, a woman in Haikou, Hainan Province, forgot to unplug her charger before leaving home, causing a serious fire.
Video footage from the scene shows that the woman’s home furnishings and appliances were all burned, leaving behind nothing but ruins and charred walls, a truly heartbreaking scene.
In an interview with mainland media, the woman said that she was not at home when the fire broke out, and neighbors notified her about the fire. It is preliminarily believed that the fire was caused by the charger.
The woman also reminded everyone that before leaving the house, make sure to unplug all chargers to prevent similar tragedies from happening again.
