According to the information released on December 28 by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, He Yong, President of the Shanxi branch of People’s Daily, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is currently under investigation.
Public information shows that He Yong, a male Communist Party member, has served as Deputy Secretary of the Hunan branch of People’s Daily, Director of the Editing and Compilation Center, and President of the Qinghai branch of People’s Daily. He is currently the President of the Shanxi branch of People’s Daily.
Xu Tao, former Chairman and General Manager of the Digital Communication Co., Ltd. under the People’s Daily, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is currently under investigation.
Liu Jianlin, former Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of China Energy Automobile Media Group Co., Ltd. under the People’s Daily, is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law and is currently under investigation.
