Last weekend (December 21st and 22nd), the New Middletown Department Store located in downtown Middletown, New York, held a “Christmas Patrol Team” event. The event invited Santa Claus to take photos with children in the store and distributed gifts to the little ones.
The New Middletown Department Store is situated at 29 North Street in Middletown, offering a range of Chinese traditional gifts, as well as products featuring both Western and local Middletown influences. One of the highlights is the exclusive Shen Yun collections and Shen Yun Dancer branded clothing available on the first floor, showcasing premium artistic pieces unique to New Middletown. Additionally, on the second floor, shoppers can explore an international goods section featuring products from various regions such as the United States, Europe, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
On the 21st, John Ewanciw, the Police Chief of Middletown City in Orange County, New York, expressed that the event served as an outreach effort between the police department and the community. He noted, “It provides an opportunity for our officers to engage with the community and the public in a more relaxed atmosphere.”
All proceeds from the event will be donated to the local non-profit organization, Run 4 Downtown Middletown, to support the prosperity of the local community.
