Shanghai human rights activist Song Jiahong is one of the victims of the Chinese Communist Party’s secret prisons. Recently, he has been releasing the “Shanghai Black Prison List,” exposing the dire human rights situation in the international metropolis of Shanghai.
The list of black prisons in Shanghai has now reached 134, with detailed addresses and regions, as well as the duration of imprisonment and responsible authorities of the victims, making it reliable and timely information.
The Shanghai Black Prison List (Part Eight) includes 13 privately-run detention facilities for petitioners set up by the Shanghai government. The information was sourced from petitioners’ public disclosures on the internet, compiled after investigations. Below are the black prison lists from various districts in Shanghai:
Chongming District:
1. Advanced Village, Changxing Town, No. 662, “Shanghai Ordinary Hotel.” Petitioner Wang Zhijun, male, 56 years old, imprisoned here for 45 days, responsible authority is the Xuanqiao Town Government of Pudong New Area.
2. “Hengsha Island Fishing Center,” Changxing Town. Petitioner Zhu Jindi, female, 67 years old, imprisoned here for 30 days, responsible authority is the Pudong New Area Government.
3. “Orange Garden,” no house number on Changxing Island. Petitioner Wang Jianzhen, female, 67 years old, imprisoned here for 33 days, responsible authority is the Caolu Government of Pudong New Area.
Pudong New Area:
1. No. 1560 Salt Morning Road, “Jin Yue Hotel.” Petitioner Xie Jinhua, female, 63 years old, imprisoned here for 15 days, responsible authority is Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
2. No. 333 Century Tang Road, “Shanghai Nanhui Mouth Dike Hotel.” Petitioner Xie Jinhua, female, 63 years old, imprisoned here for 15 days, responsible authority is Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
3. No. 12 Puhong West Road, “Vienna Hotel.” Petitioner Xie Jinhua, female, 63 years old, imprisoned here for 15 days, responsible authority is Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
4. No. 6 Building, No. 131 Liufeng Road, “Falcon Training Base.” Petitioner Yi Shuying, female, 78 years old, imprisoned here for 20 days, responsible authority is the Lujiazui Street Office of Pudong New Area.
5. No. 2571 Chuanzhou Road, “Shanghai Bifengtang Holiday Inn.” Petitioner Yi Shuying, female, 78 years old, imprisoned here for 21 days, responsible authority is the Lujiazui Street Office of Pudong New Area.
Huangpu District:
1. Baotun Road, “Hanting Hotel” (closed). Petitioner Xia Guangen, male, 84 years old, imprisoned here for 25 days, responsible authority is the Bansongyuan Road Street Office of Huangpu District.
2. No. 8 Lujia Bang Road, “Hanting Hotel” (closed). Petitioner Kong Lingzhen, female, 73 years old, imprisoned here for 30 days, responsible authority is the Bansongyuan Road Street Office of Huangpu District.
Minhang District:
No. 5588 Humin Road, “Shanghai Jiugong Hotel.” Petitioner Duan Chunfang, female, 63 years old, imprisoned here for 26 days, responsible authority is the Minhang District Xinzhuang Town Government.
Yangpu District:
No. 1146 Jungong Road, “Shanghai Machine Tool Factory.” Petitioner Xiang Wenyin, male, 63 years old, imprisoned here for 81 days, responsible authority is the Yangpu District Government.
Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province:
No. 49 Wuxiang, Jinting Town, Wu Zhong District, “Jinting Fengji Farmhouse.” Petitioner Chen Meihua, female, 68 years old, imprisoned here for 10 days, responsible authority is the Shimen Erlu Street Office of Jing’an District.
