Trump backs KC Crosbie for Republican National Committee Co-Chair position

On December 9, 2024, US President-elect Donald Trump (Trump) endorsed the Republican National Committee’s financial director and National Committeewoman from Kentucky, KC Crosbie, to serve as Co-Chair of the RNC.

In a post on the social media platform Truth Social, the day after his daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, announced her resignation as Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee, Trump gave his backing to Crosbie’s bid for the position.

Trump stated: “America First patriot KC Crosbie is running to become the next Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), to succeed the outstanding Lara Trump!”

“Laura and Chairman Michael Whatley will transform the RNC into a streamlined, focused, and powerful organization, providing the momentum for the MAGA movement to drive the Republican Party forward in the coming years. Thank you, Laura, for your hard work and dedication in making America great again!”

Trump wrote: “KC has served the Republican National Committee with excellence, as the RNC’s financial director and a great National Committeewoman from Kentucky. During her tenure as financial director, she helped the RNC break all fundraising records in history, solidifying the financial foundation of the Republican Party.”

“KC has been fighting alongside me from the beginning, helping true Republicans win elections across the country. She will be an outstanding Co-Chair of the RNC! KC will continue to ensure that the RNC is an efficiently operated, financially responsible, and effective organization, with election integrity as the top priority.”

Finally, Trump concluded: “I fully and wholeheartedly support KC Crosbie to be the next Co-Chair of the Republican National Committee!”
