Today’s focus: Moscow experiences power and water outages, Russia’s most advanced air defense system bombed; Ukraine unveils “decapitation” drones, targeting a 1 vs. 6 ground battle between Ukraine and Russia; NATO plans to take action against Russia; “Egg Fried Rice” becomes a symbol of Thanksgiving in China.

Can you imagine what it feels like to have power and water outages in cities like New York or Beijing during the cold winter? On the evening of November 23, at 8:30, Moscow suddenly experienced water and power outages, plunging into darkness. Take a look at the scene in the suburbs of Moscow in Kommunarka at 2 am on November 24, with the temperature at minus 5 degrees Celsius.

For Russia and Ukraine, escalating war means that the people of both countries will increasingly face greater threats to their lives and sink into more fear. Zelensky spoke on November 24, stating that almost every day in Ukraine for the past week, air raid alarms have been sounding across various regions. On the night of the 23rd, the Ukrainian anti-aircraft forces shot down nearly 50 attack drones. In the past week, the Russian military launched over 800 guided bombs at Ukraine, around 460 attack drones, and over 20 various missiles.

Since Biden lifted the restrictions on Ukraine using US long-range missiles against Russia last week, it seems that Zelensky is determined to launch all the American-made missiles he has in hand without hesitation at the beginning of the winter battle, specifically targeting the Kursk battlefield in Russia.

On the 23rd, the Ukrainian military launched 6 American-made tactical missiles targeting the Halya airbase in Kursk, Russia. Why attack this location? Because it houses Russia’s most advanced S-400 air defense system, crucial in determining the aerial advantage in the ongoing battle in Kursk between the two sides.

After this round of strikes, the Russian S-400 air defense system was left in shambles. Coincidentally, when the tactical missiles struck, the Russian army was conducting equipment maintenance, resulting in the elimination of 5 Russian officers, including a colonel and staff officers, and injuries to 3 engineers. Images captured by locals during the Ukrainian ambush show the aftermath, with the video capturing someone asking, “Is this the new air defense system?”

In the video footage, you can see that when the tactical missiles hit, a long stretch of fire erupted on the ground, indicating that the Ukrainian forces used cluster bombs that can create a “rain of iron.” Rare footage near the explosion captured the terrifying moment when the “iron rain” exploded, sending chills down the spine.

Military enthusiasts in China might know that ten years ago, the Chinese Communist Party spent $3 billion to purchase 6 sets of S-400 air defense systems from Russia, equipped with 6 missile regiments. However, during the Russia-Ukraine conflict, it appears that the seemingly powerful S-400 has been destroyed multiple times by American-made weapons used by the Ukrainian military, even weapons being phased out by the US.

The ballistic missiles used by Ukraine belong to the category of ballistic missiles. According to Reuters, the US will soon transfer more advanced AGM-158B stealthy air-to-surface cruise missiles to Ukraine with a range exceeding 1,000 kilometers. The main feature is the use of advanced technology to reduce its infrared and electromagnetic signatures, ensuring its ability to penetrate the opponent’s densest air defense networks. Interestingly, when this type of missile was developed, the US media openly claimed that this new weapon was tailored for conflict with the Chinese Communist Party. Experience the power of this missile, capable of carrying a thousand pounds of high-explosive warhead to hit its target.

After more than two years of warfare between Russia and Ukraine, both sides have suffered massive missile depletion. According to a US think tank’s research based on satellite images, a missile manufacturing facility at the Longcheng Machinery Factory in Hamhung, the second-largest city in North Korea, is expanding to assemble short-range missiles used in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. This facility is known to be the only North Korean factory capable of producing solid fuel ballistic missiles.

As strikes are conducted on Russian territory using US long-range missiles, on November 25, Ukrainian forces once again launched a drone attack on an oil depot and storm instrument manufacturing plant in the Kaluga region near Moscow, both of which were severely damaged.

In recent news, the Defense Intelligence Agency of Ukraine has unveiled an upgraded version of a lethal drone named Lyutyi, boasting a range of up to 2,000 kilometers specifically designed for deep strikes on Russian territory, covering most major cities in Russia, including Moscow. The Ukrainian Intelligence Agency emphasized that this drone could perfectly execute precision decapitation missions, seemingly learning this tactic from Israel for targeting “leadership comrades.”

According to Western media reports, with Ukraine’s strikes on Russian territory, particularly targeting military factories, the production of Russia’s renowned ‘Zastava’ drones has decreased by 75%. Russia is now relying more on Iran-supplied “Shahed” drones, with records showing 38 “Shahed” drones flying into Ukraine via Belarus for bombings on November 24 to 25.

Due to the brutality of life and death in warfare, it has become the ultimate testing ground for the performance of various weapons. In the frontline battles of Russia and Ukraine, the American Bradley tanks have undoubtedly become the favorite in offensives for Ukrainian soldiers. Recently, the Ukrainian 425th Battalion launched an attack on Russian positions using Bradley tanks in the Pokrovsky frontline.

In the frontline battles between Russia and Ukraine, it is often a battle where courage triumphs. Recently, a soldier named Kum from the K2 Battalion of the 54th Brigade of Ukraine encountered a 6-member Russian combat team. In situations like this, the isolated side is usually eliminated or captured, but Kum single-handedly repelled the Russian assault team. This battlefield miracle was recorded by drones in the sky.

Many may wonder what sustains the Ukrainian soldiers fighting day and night on the frontlines for over two years. In an interview video, there were no grandiose statements about “defending our homeland,” but a simple phrase and a tear managed to hit the soul.

On November 25, General Powell, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, pointed out that since February 2022, the time of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, although the number of Russian ground forces has increased significantly, their quality has drastically declined. Their current combat capabilities are far below the level three years ago. In contrast, the Ukrainian army has undergone a metamorphosis, and its overwhelming combat power speaks volumes. General Powell disclosed that NATO is discussing launching preemptive strikes with high precision on Russian territory, targeting missile launchers to prevent Russian attacks on us.

European and American business leaders must recognize that the commercial decisions they make will have strategic consequences on national security. General Powell specifically highlighted Russia and China’s control over strategic resources like natural gas, rare earths, and pharmaceuticals, stating, “If we believe that the Communist Party will never wield this power, we are far too naive.”

In fact, not only controlling strategic resources, the Chinese Communist Party will not relax control over anything that may affect their autocratic power, even “Egg Fried Rice.” November 25 marks the anniversary of the death of Mao Zedong’s eldest son, Mao Anying. His death occurred during the so-called “Resistance against America and Aid Korea” when he was discovered by the US Air Force for consuming a plate of “Egg Fried Rice” and subsequently perished when incendiary bombs were dropped. Otherwise, Mao Anying would have been in line for succession after Mao Zedong’s passing.

Therefore, “Egg Fried Rice” has become a taboo that the Chinese Communist Party seeks to suppress, to the extent that a Chinese internet celebrity chef with millions of followers was attacked last year for sharing a video teaching how to cook egg fried rice. The video was eventually deleted, and an apology was issued. In recent years, many Chinese people view November 25 as a symbol of “shattering communist dictatorship,” considering it as China’s “Thanksgiving,” with individuals still expressing their sentiments by posting pictures of egg fried rice. Some comment: “Today is a good day, just have some egg fried rice; fry eggs with gasoline; it must be lard fried rice.”
