The Whitney Museum of American Art, located in the meatpacking district of Manhattan, New York, recently announced a new policy. Starting from mid-December, visitors aged 25 and under will be able to enter and enjoy the museum for free.
The museum primarily focuses on showcasing American art from the 20th and 21st centuries. In the past, they have offered various free activities, including free entry every Friday from 5 pm to 10 pm, as well as free admission all day on the second Sunday of each month. Despite the free entrance, due to limited capacity, visitors are still required to have a ticket to enter. The museum encourages visitors to purchase tickets online in advance. Additionally, the gallery on the first floor of the museum has always been open to the public for free, with no ticket required.
