Rampant random stabbing incidents in China, 4 students in Jiangsu collude to commit crimes

On November 16, a indiscriminate stabbing incident occurred at Wuxi Vocational and Technical College in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province, China. The incident resulted in 8 deaths and 17 injuries. A parent of a student at the school revealed that the perpetrator was a group of 4 former graduates of the school who collaborated in carrying out the attack. Prior to this incident, on November 11, a serious hit-and-run incident had just taken place at Zhuhai Sports Center in Guangdong.

Additionally, on the 17th, there were reports of stabbing incidents at Suzhou Industrial Vocational and Technical College and Guangdong University of Technology. Analysis points to the severe Communist ideological violence in China, where corruption is rampant, leading to a society filled with evil and chaos, devoid of hope.

According to the Yixing City Public Security Bureau, on November 16 around 6:30 p.m., a knife attack took place at Yixing Wuxi Vocational and Technical College, resulting in 8 deaths and 17 injuries. The suspect, a 21-year-old male named Xu, was arrested on the spot. It was reported that Xu, a 2024 graduate of the school, committed the crime out of frustration for failing exams, not receiving his graduation certificate, and dissatisfaction with his internship compensation.

Although officials stated that there was only one perpetrator in their report, a parent of a student at the school, named Wu Shan, shared undisclosed information with a reporter. Wu Shan’s niece, a third-year student at the school, narrowly escaped the attacker. Wu Shan mentioned that her niece informed her that the perpetrators were 4 male graduates of the current year, who stabbed 8 people to death (5 females and 3 males) and injured over ten others who were hospitalized.

She revealed that the motive of the perpetrators was the exploitation and low wages provided by the internship they were offered by the school. The harsh working conditions pushed them to retaliate against the system.

A purported “suicide note” left by one of the attackers, Xu, claimed that they were mistreated by the factory they interned at, leading to their desperate actions. The note highlighted issues such as unpaid wages, lack of insurance, no overtime pay, fines, and lack of compensation.

The recent spate of student violence has raised concerns about the lack of justice and opportunities within Chinese society. The exploitation of young workers in vocational schools has pushed some individuals to retaliate against the system, as seen in these tragic incidents.

Renowned Chinese-Canadian writer, Sheng Xue, emphasized that the lack of fairness and rampant abuse of power in Chinese society has left individuals feeling hopeless and desperate. The collapse of the economic miracle under the Communist Party has disproportionately affected the youth, leaving them in precarious situations with no support.

The incidents at vocational schools in different cities across China reflect a disturbing trend of retaliation against societal injustices. Sheng Xue stressed the need for fundamental changes in governance to address the deep-rooted issues causing such violence.

As more incidents of violence surface, it is evident that China’s social fabric is unraveling due to the system’s failure to provide a fair and just society for its citizens.
