Deng Chao’s performance in the film not only won accolades from his son but also earned praise from his wife Sun Li, hailed as the “Queen of Mainland Drama.” She said, “On the way here just now, I felt that Mr. Deng was quite nervous, he kept rubbing his hands and his pants. Because I am also an actress, I might be more critical of his performance than others.
