Walmart announced on Monday that they will be holding three promotional events to welcome this year’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday. The first event will start online at noon on November 11th for Walmart+ paying members, and will open to all customers at 5 p.m. The same event will also take place in physical stores on November 15th at 6 a.m. local time.
The second promotional event will start online at noon on November 25th for Walmart+ paying members, and will be open to all customers at 5 p.m. The same event will also be held in physical stores on November 29th (Black Friday) at 6 a.m. local time.
The third promotional event will start at 5 p.m. on December 1st for Walmart+ paying members, and will be open to all customers on Walmart.com and the Walmart app at 8 p.m. According to the company, these promotional events will cover various categories of products, including toys, technology, home goods, fashion, and decor.
Walmart’s Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for the U.S. region, Latriece Watkins, stated in a press release, “We know customers are shopping for the holidays, and Walmart’s ‘Black Friday Deals’ event is a one-stop shopping platform that allows customers to enjoy amazing discounts on a variety of highly desired products.”

In addition to the deals, Walmart is offering half-price Walmart+ membership for only $49. This half-price offer is valid until December 2nd, allowing customers to “enjoy a year of benefits, including free delivery of millions of items, exclusive discounts on dining, fuel, and travel, free video streaming, and more.”
Walmart also announced that their “Morning Delivery” service will start at 6 a.m., and express delivery services can be provided within 30 minutes.
The retailer stated in the press release that they will continue to expand their testing of AI-powered shopping assistants.
According to Walmart, this feature “allows customers to discover, evaluate, and decide on products that best fit their unique needs” and “enhances their shopping experience through natural, fluid conversation responses.”
