Chinese Renowned Forensic Scientist Liu Liang Confirms “Humans Have Souls”

Renowned forensic expert and professor at the Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology in China, Liu Liang, has participated in over seven thousand autopsies. In a recent interview, he openly admitted, “Humans have souls,” and when asked by the host if it was true, he confidently responded, “Yes! It must be so!”

On Qingming Festival, April 5th, a video interview with Professor Liu Liang from the Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology circulated widely on Chinese social media.

At 65 years old, Liu Liang appeared on the self-media program “Cooler Interview Records” and revealed that he has worked in the Department of Forensic Medicine at the Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology for 43 years, having conducted autopsies on over four thousand bodies and participated in over seven thousand autopsies in total.

When asked if he was a materialist, he jokingly replied, “This question is quite sensitive, but I will answer truthfully. Initially, I was a strong materialist, but after years of research, especially seeing death, I feel like the soul of the deceased is present during the autopsy, watching over me.”

The host bluntly inquired, “Do humans have souls?” to which he replied, “Yes,” and when asked again, he decisively affirmed, “Yes! They must have!” When probed further if humans truly possess souls, he responded, “Absolutely.”

When asked about any supernatural experiences he might have encountered, he cautiously mentioned, “Can I say that?” Pushed by the host to confirm, he responded, “Yes, definitely, but I cannot disclose specifics; it can be discussed privately.”

However, Liu Liang did share some extraordinary experiences, including cases where the deceased communicated through dreams, guiding him to solve mysteries.

Many netizens shared their own encounters in the comments section of the interview video:

“Do we still need to debate the existence of souls? I was haunted by ghosts for two to three months when I was in junior high, a firsthand experience.”

“I have encountered dreams conveying messages and paranormal events. There are so many unexplainable occurrences in this world; just because science cannot explain them doesn’t mean they are unscientific – that argument itself is unscientific.”

“I witnessed my father’s soul lingering at the ICU’s door before his passing. It was a magical experience that I vividly dreamed about. Whether read now or in the future, I firmly believe that individuals find ways to convey the existence of souls in different ways before departing this world; it serves as a final interaction and farewell.”

“Once you experience dream messages, you understand the feeling and are certain of the existence of souls. Science explains things within a specific dimension, and it cannot elucidate phenomena from other dimensions.”

Former national women’s marathon coach and current coach of the Marathon Team of the China Railway Athletics Association, Tao Shaoming, echoed, “Humans have souls.”

Netizen “Mofei Bian @MofeiBian” posted a 7-minute clip on social media platform X and commented, “Combining Liu Liang’s professional experiences with my personal encounters, I also believe there are certain things that are inexplicable but undeniably exist.”
