Trump warns Iran and hints at bombing power plants and bridges.

After the successful rescue mission of missing comrades in enemy territory by the US military in Iran, President Trump warned Iran on Sunday (April 5) to quickly open the Strait of Hormuz, or face the consequences of hell.

President Trump posted on his social media platform “Truth Social” Sunday morning, stating that Tuesday (April 7) will be “Power Plant Day” and “Bridge Day”, which will both unfold in Iran together in an unprecedented manner!!!

He then urged Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz and sternly warned that if the demands are not met, “you will be living in hell, wait and see.”

Trump’s comments were a warning to Iran that if changes are not made quickly, the country’s power plants and bridges will be destroyed on Tuesday. The day before, the President issued a 48-hour ultimatum to Iran. He posted on “Truth Social,” “Remember when I gave Iran ten days, either make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz? Time is running out – in 48 hours, the gates of hell will come down on them.”

On Sunday, Trump also introduced in another post the successful rescue operation by the US military of two crew members of an F-15E fighter jet.

The US F-15E fighter jet was shot down in Iranian airspace last Friday (April 3), and the two crew members ejected to safety. The US military rescued one pilot in the day’s assault operation and successfully retrieved the other crew member in Saturday’s operation.

President Trump described the two assault operations by the US military in his post.

“The second strike happened after the first; in the first operation, we rescued the pilot in broad daylight, which is very rare, and conducted operations over Iranian airspace for a continuous seven hours,” the President said. “It was an amazing display of courage and capability!”

He also said that the second crew member successfully rescued from the deep mountains of Iran was a highly respected colonel. Despite being severely injured, he showed great bravery. At the time, the Iranian military mobilized massive forces for an extensive search and was closing in.

The President said due to the high risk to “personnel and equipment”, such assault operations are rarely attempted – almost never happen!

Trump is set to hold a press conference with the military at 1 p.m. on Monday in the Oval Office of the White House.

“May God bless our great soldiers!” he said.

There are no public activities scheduled for the President on Sunday, but it is expected that he will attend the White House Easter egg roll event on Monday morning.
