In the state of Virginia, a man recently purchased 20 lottery tickets with the same numbers for the same draw, and it turned out that those numbers were the winning ones, granting him a total prize of $100,000.
According to the report by the Associated Press, the lucky man living in the southeastern city of Hampton, Virginia, is named Prentice Douglas. He plays the Pick 4 lottery every day and always chooses the same numbers 3-2-3-8.
Recently, he bought Pick 4 lottery tickets for the draw on March 7 at a 7-11 convenience store. He purchased 20 tickets, each with the same set of numbers.
The results revealed that each of his tickets won the highest prize of $5,000, totaling a $100,000 win for him.
As for how he plans to use this prize money, Douglas mentioned that he doesn’t have any plans at the moment.
Similarly in Virginia, another man recently won a lottery prize of $200,000 due to his bedtime routine.
This man, Larry Bailey, residing in the northern part of Chesterfield County, has the habit of playing online lottery every night before going to sleep to relax his mind and body.
On March 18, after putting his child to bed, he selected a ticket and unexpectedly won the jackpot of $200,000. This came as a big surprise to him.
He said, “I have seen photos of lottery winners, but I never thought I would be one of them. I can’t believe it!”
He also mentioned that besides taking care of his family and possibly going on a vacation, he hasn’t made any plans for using this prize money yet.
