On March 27, former “post-70s” female Party Secretary and Director of the Guizhou Transportation Department, Zhang Yin, was removed from her position.
The announcement was made on the Guizhou Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision website. Currently, the official website of the Guizhou Transportation Department has taken down all information and news related to Zhang Yin.
According to her public resume, the 54-year-old Zhang Yin has been working in the transportation system in Guizhou for a long time. She has held positions such as Director of the Office of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Transportation, Deputy Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Highway Bureau, Director and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Guizhou Provincial Highway Bureau, and General Manager of Guizhou Expressway Group Co., Ltd.
On March 26, 2024, Zhang Yin was appointed as the Party Secretary and Director of the Guizhou Provincial Transportation Department. Just two years into her tenure, on March 26, 2026, the “Guizhou People’s Congress” announced the removal of Zhang Yin from her position as Director of the Guizhou Provincial Transportation Department.
The last time Zhang Yin was seen in public was on March 12. According to the “Guizhou Transportation” WeChat official account, on that day, Zhang Yin led a team to attend a working symposium between the Guizhou Transportation Department and China Railway Chengdu Group Co., Ltd.
